  • Location: Synlius in Fort Shantaari
  • Materials: fifty-three percent mithril and forty-seven percent dweomer
  • Damage Types: Slashing
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Nine twentieths of a dimin wide and thirteen dimins long
  • Extras:
  • Description:
The handle of this ancient mithril battleaxe is worn and smooth, but the blade has remained incredibly sharp. Faint, unreadable symbols mark the
base of the weapon. You recognize this as the Axe of Dunbar. The worn symbols are the marks of dwarven smiths, but their fading makes it difficult
to tell the exact origins of the axe. Legend places it at least as old as the Cleansing War, which took place nearly six hundred years ago.

Blackheart

  • Type: Battleaxe
  • Location: Kham in Togrek
  • Materials: sixty-three percent adamantite, thirty-one percent qlippotam, three percent obsidian, and three percent ruby
  • Damage Types: Cutting, Entropy, Primal.
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Eleven twentieths of a dimin wide and twelve and a half dimins long
  • Extras: Occasionally fires bolts of frost in battle. Can additionally be invoked when charged to provide an additional qlippotic damage effect against a foe - read the script for the key.
  • Description:
A light, agile battleaxe of black adamantite with strange runes inlaid into the surface of its head in ruby. Along the handle appears to be more
conventional script, this simply etched into the metal. Its pommel is a smooth obsidian hemisphere that glows with a ghostly opalescence. The quality
of its craftsmanship is excellent. You recognize this as Blackheart, the weapon famed as the slayer of the elflord Cetelias Donaquin.

Dyad

  • Type: Greataxe
  • Location: Random Load
  • Materials: twenty percentxorakas, twenty percent lexoth, twenty percent lzarawn, twenty percent kedusham, twenty percent iron, one percent leather, and one percent eog drifts
  • Damage Types: Divine (Henosis if used by a Hellwalker)
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: three fifths of a dimin wide and fourteen and a half dimins long.
  • Extras:
  • Description: This is a greataxe made of solid red iron. Though the bulk of the weapon

is of crude metal and wicked shape -- the double blades being partially serrated and the pommel and head being spiked -- the overall craftsmanship is unearthly, and an eog is set in the middle of the blades, just above the top of the haft. The eog is lined horizontally with a ring of dense lexoth runes and vertically-diagonally with a spiral of thin xorakas runes. On the inward part of the double blades that serve as a setting, one half is lined with a half-circle of kedusham runes and the other half a half-pentagram of lzarawn runes. The haft itself is wrapped in thick black leather strips. This is the ancient weapon known as Dyad, though it is has many older and names: Seperator, Morsindel, Shikami, God Drinker, and probably countless forgotten others. It reentered the historical record several centuries ago when it was wielded by the enslaved orc Galgarol against his captors. Since then it has appeared occasionally in stories and modern legends, many of them almost certainly exaggerated, involving orcs slaying everything from human jailors, to demonic powers, to angelic tormentors.

Edgewild

  • Extras: Has stun discharge. Is a Calibra weapon, so discharges in much the same fashion.
  • Description:

This is an exquisitely-crafted battleaxe composed out of interlocking pieces of sky blue adamantite. The weapon has an unusual style: its edges and form seem inspired by something between a machine and an insect. A thin line of faint golden light seeps from the gaps in the pieces around the butt of the axe head. There is a small red gold switch on the middle of the haft. It bears the craftmark of the Wayfarer, the mastersmith aviar of Echelos: an engraved image of a rose entwined with an orchid. This is one of the Wayfarer's cannon, a melee weapon imbued with a eideturgic engine that enable a wielder properly aligned with ordered forces to fire blasts of energy. You recognize this as an armament used by the soldiers of Calibra, the warrior city of Echelos, who make judicious use of strata armours, energy weapons, and more esoteric order-imbued artifacts. You recognize this as Edgewild, the battleaxe used by Ein, father of Karth, against the minions of Ahrikol when the Lupines were in their infancy and struggling to gain a foothold. It is said that the Wayfarer worked meteoric iron into the weapon, binding motes of stratospheric essence into it. The blade shines with the harsh glare of an open sky. It is permeated by a dim golden light. It is in perfect condition. It looks about half a dimin wide and thirteen dimins long. It weighs about three and one hundred thirty-nine two-hundredths dekans. • Description:
This is an activated flux greataxe, a shimmering black iron staff etched with energy-focusing patterns surmounted by a twin-headed
axe-blade of shimmering blue psionic energy. There is a raised rectangular block of metal on the staff. This is Mindcleaver, a
formidable artifact believed by some to be the first flux weapon ever created. Its precise origin remains a mystery, lost amid the
stories of its devastating powers being employed by a panoply of psychically gifted warriors throughout its existence. It has a few
thin streamers of shimmering haze and a webwork of starry radiance within and around it.

This vicious steel greataxe has been dyed dark crimson from the blood of its countless victims, save for the razor edge,
which remains strangely clean and sharp. The long, thick handle is made from carved black steel with braided metallic
cords offering a harsh, yet firm, grip. Zeal was forged several centuries ago by Alphaks as a gift to his most devoted
warrior, the bane of thousands of his enemies. Smiths wrought this fervent malice into the fearsome weapon, permeating it
with an insatiable bloodlust. Zeal's voracity is rumoured to exceed that of any bearer since.

  • Description:
This is a giant axe made of ruby and blood-red steel. The quality of its craftsmanship is
unearthly. It emits a warm glow and occasionally lets off small showers of sparks. You recognize
this as Hestjeger, the axe of Thurgg Bloodfist of The Crimson Fist. Legends say it was forged with
phoenix fire. It is nicked and scratched with use but retains its incredible edge. Its blade is

the first and most tragic casualty was the kind-hearted and well-beloved Prince Laridan of Mynaecelani, treacherously
slain by Vandyron of Nibenay while pursuing a mission of peace between the nations. Laridan's betrothed, Illyana,
a woman greatly skilled in both war and sorcery, crafted in her bereavement the enchanted bow called Illyana's Rage,
instilling it with her anger and anointing it with her tears. It is said that the weapon's magick will not rest until
the last descendant of Nibenay is dust. It has outlived the nation of Nibenay by aeons, but still ceaselessly seeks

  • Description:

This long, opalescent dagger is the weapon called Soulshard, a device of malign power which has plagued the world across the ages. Some accounts claim it was created in the time of the ancient Istax Empire -- an assertion supported by the Istax soul-rune etched upon its shimmering obsidian handle -- while others contend that that was merely when the blade was fitted with its current pommel and in fact its evil is far older still in origin. The weapon's blade gives off a barely-perceptible milky-white glow, like a fragment of the moon honed into a cutting edge, and is surrounded by an aura of cold, as if it were drawing the heat out of the air around it. The thing is best-known for the black thanaturgic magicks it uses to draw the life from its victims -- though more recent tales tell of a propensity for turning on its wielder, a behavior not described in older accounts. Gnawing at the edges of your perception is an awareness of some kind of disembodied intellect lurking within the weapon -- something alien, something hungry. Most strangely, your examination reveals that the intelligence hosted in the device seems to be made up of both psionic and magickal energies, bound together in some kind of fusion -- a feat considered somewhere between unknown and strictly impossible in the theory of both disciplines.

It can also be (depends on your skills):

Gnawing at the edges of your perception is an awareness of some kind of disembodied intellect lurking within the weapon -- something alien, something hungry. Strangely, your examination reveals that the intelligence hosted in the device seems to be a psionic construct -- not greatly surprising, except that the psionic energy seems to be bound up with some other form of power structure, something strange and dark. If this meant that the psionic construct in the weapon were somehow fused with the thanaturgic magicks said to dwell in the thing, that would be a feat considered somewhere between unknown and strictly impossible in psionic theory.

scene. Upon one cap, there is a demon's hand which grasps a staff veiled in suffering, and on the other, an angel's hand grasps a staff, surrounded by
light. Vigour is an ancient staff which has been long held by the kentaurs of Othrys for many years. According to Othrys legend, the staff was originally
created by a wizened mage whose extreme lust for power and knowledge lead to a pact with angels and demons alike to create this magestic staff.
A diamond forged by the holiest of angels, an onyx forged by the most demonic of demons, and an emerald forged of the most willful of humans lay
upon the staff, creating a focus to enhance the power of the staff by the heart of the one who wields it. Mystic runes have been carved from top to
bottom along the staff, and each rune shows a small story of a battle fought by angels and demons alike who have heard of the rare union by the forces
of good and evil, creating the powerful staff known as Vigour. It is unknown whether these runes are of myth or truth, but the message is quite
clear: great power awaits the one who wields this mystic staff. It is permeated by an auroric radiance.

holds is part of the Pattern of Amber, primal source of cosmic order. The legends of this weapon say that those mortally wounded by it are destroyed by
the power of the Pattern, with some fragment of the strength of their will absorbed by the sword and used to enhance the wielder's battle-prowess. It is

the lines of glowing energy embedded within the blade, forming a strange pattern that resonates oddly with
the eye, like a memory hovering on the brink of recognition. The name of the blade is Grayswandir. If
tale and legend are to be believed, this is the armament of Prince Corwin of Amber, a Pattern-sword bearing a
fragmentary mirror-image of the source of cosmic order within it.

This blade is named Meridiandal, and if legend holds true, it is the personal blade of Gavadel of Amber, and the lines within it are an image of a fragment of the Pattern, the source of cosmic order.

contrasting with the blade. The arcane symbols themselves are carved deeply
into the material of the blade, and glow a faint crimson. Just above the
pommel is a triangular guard, golden in color. You recognize it as a
lzrelekos, one of a class of potent magickal weapons. The lzrelekoi are
believed to be, one and all, demonic creatures bound into the shape of swords,
their foul powers turned to the purpose of draining their victims'
life-essence and transforming it into unholy strength for their wielders. The
blood-thirst of the demon blades is also noted; the evil intelligences within
them are said to often force their would-be masters to slay friends and
innocents. This is Mournblade, a blade of power whose legend is often told as
part of that of its sister-sword Stormbringer, though it is a potent evil in
its own right. Like Stormbringer, it is known for the demonic strength
granted its bearer and for the trail of blood and tears that follows that
ill-starred individual. It appears to be composed of a few thin wisps of
shimmering radiance, a webwork of dark radiance, and a webwork of shimmering
indigo haze.

to what one might expect from its origins, it is an assassin's weapon, enchanted to help the wielder evade detection and harm while
reaching a target quickly, only then to bring its full power to bear. It appears to be composed of a few thin wisps of darkness and
a few thin wisps of foulness. It looks about five and thirteen twentieths dimins long, nine twentieths of a dimin wide and a tenth

It pulses gently with thin layers of airy aether that roll off of it like waves rolling off of a beach. It is permeated by a dim auroric radiance.

A thin line of faint golden light seeps from the gaps in the pieces around the base of the blade. There is a small green gold switch where the guard meets the hilt. A row of semicircular green gold hooks the back of the blade. The hooks look about the right size for a wand. You recognize this as Peacemaker, forged by the Wayfarer under the guidance of Hanoman masters for the tuatha warrior Taiji. Before he went into seculsion for unknown reasons, Taiji used it for many decades to keep the peace in Valathyr and various elven extraplanar strongholds. After he vanished the sword was lost. It is said that a fraction of Taiji's silima was alchemically blended into the composition of the blade. The blade is lined with beautiful green gold filigree. The substance of the weapon itself, a long, curved, single-edged sword with a chisel point, forged in a way that gives the metal the ability to hold an incredibly sharp edge, has been honed to an edge that can cut thoughts. It is in perfect condition. It looks about three twentieths of a dimin wide and eighteen dimins long. It weighs about seven twentieths of a dekan.

You sense some sort of current being established between you and your green-gold-filigreed ilianara baldric.
  • Description:

This is a perfectly-crafted ilianara baldric with a scabbard that looks to be sized for a katana. There is a long thin notch on the mune of the scabbard that looks as though it is designed to accomodate some sort of anomalous protrusion. The notch is surrounded by elaborate green gold filigree. Most of the middle is wrapped in ilianara strips that connect to a strap designed to secure the scabbard to one's shoulder. It has an erivelin rim. Small spiralling green eleute bars protruding from the rim extend upward to wrap around Peacemaker sheathed within, locking it into place. A circle of small imire runes is inlaid into the center of the scabbard in a gap in the wrap; in their center is a larger rune resembling a rose. It is in perfect condition. It is intermediate in size, and looks just about right to fit you. It looks about seven twentieths of a dimin wide, thirteen dimins long, and a tenth of a dimin thick. In a state of wild alarm--
With a frightful, frantic, fearful frown,
I bared my big right arm.
I seized him by his little pig-tail,
And on his knees fell he,
As he squirmed and struggled,
And gurgled and guggled,
I drew my snickersnee!
Oh, never shall I
Forget the cry,
Or the shriek that shrieked he,
As I gnashed my teeth,
When from its sheath
I drew my snickersnee!

Stormbringer

  • Type: Runesword
  • Location: Random Load
  • Materials: Lzarawn
  • Damage Types: entropic, unholy, cutting
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Twenty-two and a half dimins long, half a dimin wide
  • Extras: Increases strength when wielded.
  • Description:
A long, massive, ornate ebony blade of the otherworldly material lzarawn, borne of unholy
sorcery. Hundreds of arcane symbols run its length, varying in size from more than half a
dimin across to barely the size of the iris of a human eye. The pommel is of the same ebony
material, but bound in leather, contrasting with the blade. The arcane symbols themselves
are carved deeply into the material of the blade, and glow a faint crimson. Just above the
pommel is a triangular guard, golden in color. You recognize it as a lzrelekos, one of a
class of potent magickal weapons. The lzrelekoi are believed to be, one and all, demonic
creatures bound into the shape of swords, their foul powers turned to the purpose of draining
their victims' life-essence and transforming it into unholy strength for their wielders.
The blood-thirst of the demon blades is also noted; the evil intelligences within them are
said to often force their would-be masters to slay friends and innocents. This is the legendary
Stormbringer, called demon blade, soul-drinker, heart-reaver, and more in a march of names down
through the ages. It is known for draining the life from its victims and feeding that energy
to its wielder as great strength of limb, and also for the tales of treachery and ill fate which
 inescapably accompany it.

  • Description:
This is a bastard sword made of chromium. There is a set of two fullers along the flat of the blade,
curving gently from a joined vertex at the tip to run parallel down the blade into a hilt with no
crossguard, where the fuller seems to draw out from a concavity to a convexity, spinning around itself
to form the hilt, and finally flaring at the bottom to form a flat pommel. Its surface dances with
the reflections of its surroundings, images undistorted despite the grind of the weapon. This is
Toalec, a bastard sword that is said to have been lost to time. Stories tell of its ability to
uncannily parry attacks, and to visciously and jealously defend its wielder, while allowing them to
make nearly impossible strikes. It has a tracery of shimmering radiance within and around it.

  • Description:

This is a rapier of green-and-cyan adamantite with twin blades, each razor sharp, crafted skillfully into a double helix spiral so that the two blade tips just barely meet one another. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. It bears some stylized letters on the pommel. You recognize this as Viva, a prototype weapon made by the Sundown Ventures Company. Its production is known to have been halted after the creation of the first model, because of the expense of the enchantment procedures involved, among other things. It is said that its makers, consisting of practitioners of rare esoteric disciplines and artisan weapon manufacturers, managed to produce a weapon which draws upon the positive energies of the universe. These positive energies were used, not to restore life - as that would defeat the purpose of the weapon - but to attack it in a new way. Not only does the blade function this way, but the energies are also honed by the blade conversely, to the wielder, with mysterious effects. The prototype was seen to its completion, but upon analysis, it was not feasible for the company to mass produce weapons like this. The problem seemed to revolve around the fact that many of the esoteric disciplines involved in the weapon's creation were also necessary for its proper functioning in battle. No lore exists which reveals just what skills might be required to realize the full potential of this strange-looking sword. There are few left at the company who are even aware of Viva, let alone how it is rightly used in combat. You estimate that it is worth something upward of eight thousand gold.

   It is in perfect condition.
It looks about a twentieth of a dimin across and seventeen and a half

dimins long. It weighs about a tenth of a dekan.

  • Description:
This is a steel longsword of unearthly craftsmanship, honed to an edge that looks fit to cleave diamond. What overshadows
its construction, though, is the presence of lines of glowing energy embedded within the blade, forming a strange pattern
that catches the eye oddly, giving a sensation like a word on the tip of one's tongue but still out of reach. The sword
is named Werewindle, and is said to belong to Prince Julian of Amber; it is sister blade to Grayswandir, armament of Julian's
brother Corwin. The legends say that the lines of power within the blade are a partial image of the Pattern itself, source
of cosmic order.

tantalizingly away from the mind. This is the Pattern-helm Archimemnor, a work of primal magicks said to have proceeded
from the hands of Dworkin Barimen, architect of Amber, himself. If tales are to be believed, the particular set of
Pattern elements encoded within it creates an effect such that when the wearer defeats a foe of great power, especially
one strong in the ways of chaos, part of the force of the defeated enemy's psyche is absorbed and reinforces the wearer's.
It is permeated by a dim silvery light and a dim shimmering radiance.

thickly-cast, with large, heavy coils of iron formings its construction, and it glows dimly with a
red light that seems to emanate from nowhere. You know it to be the legendary Crown of Abaddon, a
powerful artifact from the plane of Sheol, once held by the fomor lord Ahrikol before its theft by
Tukrr, the Dark Aligned. It grants its wearer the power to summon a pillar of hellfire to engulf
their enemies, and absorbs the pain of those its wearer harms to empower one's ability to cause
further pain and suffering. You estimate its value at about two thousand two hundred gold. You
 are wearing it.
     It is in perfect condition.
It is intermediate in size, and looks just about right to fit you. It appears to you as if it

that was created by s'tali sorcerers nearly two millenia ago. The mere fact that it still exists is testimony to the
powerful magicks that created it. These magicks are incidentally responsible for the helm's mithril being black in

generals heading into battle. It is permeated by an auroric radiance.

Worked into the front of the circlet is one flawless white pearl and another of black, the serpents' coils holding

  • Damage Types: Lightning, possibly more
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Intermediate, crafted for a human
  • Extras: Provides one with a 'Bolt of Lightning' attack. Use command 'show attacks'.
  • Description:

This is a circlet made of radium runes and electrum. The quality of its craftsmanship is unearthly. This is an energeia kephale, an item that became popular with magi of Xintatlaa at the height of that civilization, but for which the enchantment technique has been long lost. Energon kephalai afford their bearers a certain procedural knowledge of esoteric energy channels, allowing them to execute simple but effective telesmatic attacks as a matter of course. They are not particularly energetically efficient, requiring fairly large amounts of spiritual energy for their effect. They were popular more as an easy means of magickal self-defense than a studied or refined technique for prolonged or repeated combat engagement. Despite this, they are still often sought after by those who need access to unusual types of energy: the circlets were occasionally constructed by a mage who desired a unique effect as a sort of flourish or signature. This required enchanting the device with flashy, difficult-to-generate energies, and these energies are often incidentally quite useful when faced with beings not harmed by more mundane effects. The inside of the circlet is inscribed with stylized versions of four letters: sigma, rho, epsilon, and sigma. This particular kephale is Euphoria Kephela, a crown worn by the Empress of Xintatlaa, empowered by the eskara that once fueled a magick-driven Xintatlaan economy. It is permeated by a dim auroric radiance. It is in perfect condition. It is intermediate in size, and looks just about right to fit you. It appears to you as if it was crafted for a human. It looks about a twentieth of a dimin across and one and three fifths dimins around. It weighs about three fiftieths of a dekan. You estimate that it is worth something upward of seven thousand five hundred gold.

Holhenneth

  • Type: Helm
  • Location: Finwe in Valathyr
  • Materials: sixty-seven percent eleute and thirty-three percent logos
  • Damage Types:
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: One and four fifths dimins across and a twentieth of a dimin thick
  • Extras:
  • Description:
This helm, made of a translucent blue crystalline material, is shaped like a smooth cylinder with a dome top, with a
narrow T-shaped opening in the face. It looks pristine, as if having never seen battle. This is Holhenneth, the helm
worn by the first tuatha battle-lords as they fought in a great war in the dawn times of the world. Like most tuatha
war-gear of its era, it is made of the outworld crystal eleute, which in this instance is a translucent blue color.
It appears pristine, as if never having seen battle, but this is the result of enchantments laid upon it which repair
it as fast as it can be damaged. Other enchantments provide powerful defenses for the wearer and aid him in battle.
Physically, it is shaped like a smooth cylinder with a dome top, with a narrow T-shaped opening in the face. It is
permeated by a dim shimmering radiance.

Strelgth-Khulur

  • Type: Phylactery

This is a phylactery, a sort of amulet, of a kind often bearing religious significance, mounted on a long strap, half extending from either side of it, intended to be wrapped around the arm or the forehead, made of bright green limestone. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. Its boss is in the shape of an angular, five-pointed star. Despite a certain roughness to it, it has a certain coherence of design, visible in an uncanny harmony of ratios, that elevates its aesthetic value considerably. You recognize it as Strelgth-Khulur, a weird artifact of the shoggothim of Leng, though accounts differ on the matter of whether it was made by them or for them. Aside from providing useful esoteric protections to the wearer, it is reported to periodically strike one's opponents with weird energies that, in addition to inflicting damage, somehow drain or harvest madness, in many forms, from beings subject to it, and use whatever it is that is stolen to provide the wearer with potent insights into the nature of reality. Some accounts, admittedly subjective, maintain that the device is more effective in the hands (or what-have-you) of an individual possessed either chaos favour, order favour, or both. It is permeated by a dim, pulsing chaotic glow and a dim golden light. It has a few thin wisps of shimmering radiance within and around it. It is in perfect condition. It is gigantic in size, and looks just about right to fit you. It looks about one and four fifths dimins across and a quarter of a dimin long. It weighs about thirteen twentieths of a dekan. You estimate its value at about five thousand two hundred gold.

This is a phylactery made of some smooth, shimmering substance. You know this for Ng'galgath Fthalg, a thing of awe-inspiring origins, being said to
have been fashioned of a chunk of the lloigor Azathoth that was somehow broken off and made solid -- some legends say by the deeds of some hero, the name of
whom varies from telling to telling, others say by the alignment of the stars or more arcane occurrences. How it came to be fashioned into its current form
is equally obscure, but there is no obscurity in the consistent claims that it provides (or inflicts) powerful (or shattering) insights to (or upon) its
wearer. It appears to be composed of a few thin wisps of shimmering radiance.

for use as a cowl. The hide seems in exceptionally good condition, free of tears and slashes, and lacks the unappealing

The Red Plate

  • Type: Suit
  • Location: Random-load
  • Materials: sixty-three percent logos, thirty-one percent iron, and six percent leather
  • Damage Types:
  • Restrictions:
  • Size:
  • Extras:
  • Description:

This is a suit of plate armour made of perfectly-crafted red iron. Its plates are simple and unornamented, but are numerous and interlocking, giving it an intricate and somehow very ancient appearance. Its helm is the exception: it is a piece of solid metal with a small T-shaped hole for seeing and breathing. An underlayer of black leather cloth that serves as padding is visible through its joints. This is the mysterious armour known only as the Red Plate. It is thought to have its origins in the forges of Hell, but this is largely speculative, and belied by the more ordinary anthropic shape for which it is adapted. What is known about it is that it is extraordinarily effective at absorbing damage delivered from dieties, eidoloi, and other teloi. As such, the Paragons and other select chosen of teloi are typically called on to deal with its bearer, as avatars and other more direct manifestations are much less effective -- though not so much less so that they are not still a severe threat to any mortal who might contest them, with or without the Plate. It is permeated by a shimmering radiance. It is in perfect condition. It is intermediate in size, and looks just about right to fit you. It appears to you as if it was crafted for an orc. It looks about nineteen dimins tall, four and a fifth dimins wide, one and a twentieth dimins long, and a twentieth of a dimin thick. It weighs about eight and one hundred fifty-nine two-hundredths dekans. You estimate that it is worth something upward of seven thousand five hundred gold.

Astralung

  • Type: Pteraplastron
  • Location: The Wayfarer
  • Materials: fifty percent lexoth, fifty percent carbonite, and less than one percent coruscar
  • Damage Types:
  • Restrictions: Should only be worn by those with order favour.
  • Size: Twentieth of a dimin long, three and three quarters dimins wide and four and three tenths dimins tall
  • Extras: Makes its wearer ametabolic and removes their need to breathe.
  • Description:

This is a pteraplastron, a form of armour designed for the needs of winged anthropoids, covering the chest in ordinary fashion, and adding complicated assemblies upon the back, constructed to protect the wings while preserving freedom of motion, made of coruscar and night-black carbonite segments. The quality of its craftsmanship is unearthly. It is constructed out of segments that are layered on top of one another, but not actually touching. They move together as the armour moves, with a very slight delay, as if they were suspended by some sort of field. This is an instance of strata armour, exotic equipment only known to be made on the plane of Echelos, home of the chelones. Each piece is given shape by mathematically precise, mechanical construction processes, and the whole construct is given permanent stratified spatial structure by suspending it within a field of ordered energy. The two wingsheaths saemlessly extend from the back. They shimmer with a pattern like ripples in water, swaying slightly as they move. A coruscar is set into the middle of the breastplate. It looks about three and thirteen twentieths dimins tall, six and seven twentieths dimins wide, one and seven twentieths dimins long, and a twentieth of a dimin thick. Skrukthmurgor

  • Type: Hlunthmok (Bezhuldaar) armour
  • Location: Bezhuldaar in the SW room of the 8th floor of the Shadow Tower
  • Materials: Scarabinium
  • Damage Types: A wave of entropy flows from Skrukthmurgor.
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: It is huge in size and weighs about seventy dekans.
  • Extras: Varied extra damage and protection based off skills.
  • Description:
This is a hlunthmok, an exotic form of armour designed for the needs of the bezhuldaar race, mostly
spherical in shape, hinged so as to open like a clamshell, with a collection of ten flexible tubular
assemblies for the wearer's eyestalks on one side and, about ninety degrees from that, a smaller
hinged opening for the mouth below a set of horizontal slits for the central eye to look out of, made of
mottled fuchsia scarabinium. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. You recognize it as
Skrukthmurgor, the armour of Vomurkex, the hideous undead bezhuldaar who terrorized the Altrian Empire with
its shambling legions for decades. After being soundly defeated and losing two of its eyestalks at the
Second Battle of Thessalae, Vomurkex was not seen for several years; at its next appearance, it wore
Skrukthmurgor, evidently having obtained or created it in locales unknown. With this new protection,
Vomurkex was all but invulnerable, making its unexplained disappearance in the middle years of the
Empire all the more mysterious. Besides being superbly difficult to penetrate, Skrukthmurgor is said to
adapt itself to protect against the attack forms used against its wearer, drawing upon hir native abilities
to do so. Sages disagree as to what capacities on the part of the wearer are most important, but the
thanaturgy that Vomurkex was so skilled with is doubtless one of them, and mages trained in the manipulation
of elemental earth sometimes report feeling a kind of natural affinity for the artifact. Mental focus seems
relevant, as do the power manipulation capabilities native to bezhuldaars; more than this is not known.
It is said to have other powers, such as periodically discharging a powerful wave of death-force when its
wearer is in combat. Moreover, apparently all of these powers are of some sort of primal nature that is
utterly unperturbed by forces, such as the ability of the bezhuldaar central eye, that interfere with
   ordinary magicks.

Meepo's Aegis

  • Type: Hauberk
  • Location: Random Load
  • Materials: sixty-four percent obsidian, seventeen percent padding, six percent lzarawn, six percent dweomer and six percent coruscar

Needs 1000 charges before the dragon can be summoned. Charges are accumulated by killing creatures, and the amount of charge is determined by that creature's level/10. Charges are reset if the Aegis is removed or if you reincarnate.

  • Description:
This is a hauberk made of coruscar gem studding, lzarawn, and obsidian heavy mail. The
quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. One of the first Odaxi kobold adventurers to rise to a
high station was the kobold known as Meepo, sometimes called Meepo the Dragon-Keeper. Famed for
surviving a lengthy existence as the keeper of a frost-breathing dragon against long odds, Meepo's
Aegis protects its wearer against fire, cold, and evil magicks, as well as offering lesser
protection against some other elements. It is capable of absorbing trace amounts of energy from
those its wearer slays in battle, and if enough energy is absorbed, the wearer can summon a dragon
mount for a time by believing in the power of Gurbodax. To banish one's dragon mount, disbelieve
in dragons. It has a few thin wisps of blackness, a few thin wisps of shimmering violet radiance,
and a tracery of auroric radiance within and around it.
It is diminutive in size. It appears to you as if it was crafted for a kobold.

  • Description:
This is a girdle made of bone. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. It is made of thousand of tiny interlocking
bones whose joints provide its flexibility. Its buckle is a sleek, reptilian-looking skull. This is Mnethilim Foul, an
artifact sacred to Thanatos, said to have been created in ancient times to reward one of his most dedicated servants.
Accounts would have the skull that of a s'tali necromancer, accursed by Thanatos for his theft of the souls of the dead
and bound to serve for eternity in this fashion. The girdle is said to offer protection in battle in direct proportion
to the unholy taint that dwells within its wearer, and to deepen such taint over time. Reportedly the key to defeating
the wearer of Mnethilim Foul is to either simply attack more times than the device can cope with, or to drain the wearer
of spiritual energy, which degrades its functioning, eventually making it stop working entirely.

Each of the two bands is inscribed with a series of ten runes along its outer edge. These runes seem to slowly and endlessly re-etch themselves in differing shapes and patterns, such that the ring itself seems to be in constant fluid motion as the metal's surface reshapes itself. This is the fabled artifact known as Apinpanpupaka. It is said to contain the principles of many varieties of magick, augmenting a pair of them at any moment in time. Historically, this has proven very useful to magi who lack experience in some fields as they learn new cantrips and spells. It is permeated by a dim auroric radiance.

The Flower of Sperm Directed Onto Everything Ever

  • Materials: seventy-seven percent diamond, fifteen percent shekhinah, and eight percent dweomer
  • Damage Types: Extropic (discharge)
  • Restrictions:
  • Size:
  • Extras: Will occasionally heal you when held
  • Description:

This is a flower made of diamond. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. You recognize it as the Flower of Sperm Directed Onto Everything Ever, a work of art constructed by that famously goddess-besotted follower of Eris, Ultamon Zilch. It allegorically refers to the Panspermia, a Discordian origin story in which Eris creates all the peoples of the world by throwing great globs of sperm from the heavens (in the version of this story told to children, where Eris got the sperm is not mentioned; few other versions are so merciful). This divinely flung semen impregnates the ground, which gives birth to different races according to the local conditions: plains bringing forth humans, forests birthing danaan, mountains engendering thondur, and so on. This tale is noted among raconteurs for being almost infinitely adaptable to the purpose of crude ethnic slurs against whatever variety of folk the teller may be irritated with, bearing a long tradition of increasingly improbable disgusting circumstances made to account for the origin of the more obnoxious and disliked species of the world. The Flower itself, like some of Zilch's other creations, appears to have been enough liked by Eris that she imbued it with powerful energies of life. Reportedly, when the Flower is held, and *not* used directly to bash anything's head in, it will steadily heal the bearer, as well as intermittently blasting his enemies with fluxes of life energy literally too powerful for ordinary living beings to endure. It has a tracery of auroric radiance and a webwork of coruscating silvery radiance within and around it. It looks less than a twentieth of a dimin across and about two dimins tall. It weighs very little. You estimate its value at about five thousand gold.

  • Description:

This is a ring made of bloodstone and bone. The quality of its craftsmanship is fair. This is Odal Ossu, carved from the fingerbone of the lich Yakalzzagyr and set with the gem where once he hid his soul. Reputedly the artifact contains a powerful unholy essence that reacts to a similar essence in its wearer with a benison of fortifying foul energies, and in the hands of one attuned to the spirits of the dead, causes their subtle voices to give counsel in the ways of battle. Accounts would have that the power infused in the device is sufficient that these potent effects result in only a minor drain on the wearer's spirit.

Buffs a large number of skills including tactics, strategy, dodge, find weakness, lack of weakness, combat reflexes, and blindfighting as well as strength and vitality. Scales with willpower and thanaturgy. Can also provide a very short but strong speed boost in combat. Probably scales as well.

Buffs were +62 to skills and +14 to attributes at 335 willpower and 376 thanaturgy. Speed boost takes me from 83->92 speed.

  • Extras:
  • Description:
This is Dragonheart. The quality of its craftsmanship is unearthly. Long thought to be little more than an item of fancy in a child's bedtime story,
this gem was fabled to belong to a grand knight from the ages past of Avalon. The story goes that during those older, darker times dragons ruled the skies
and the scorched earth below. A council of the wisest and bravest men from the area gathered together, and with the skill of old magicks were able to
craft a single, perfect star ruby and infuse it with a powerful enchantment of protection. This gem was given to their strongest, bravest member who then
set out to put an end to the terrors that plagued their lives. Tragically, as the knight traversed the countryside seeking death for those who ravaged his
land he was set upon by barbarians from the north and brutally killed by methods from which the gem offered no protection. It is known as a gem of
protection, a class of gem that has been magickally altered to protect its bearer from dangerous and volatile esoteric energies. This particular enchantment
protects its bearer from fire damage. It shines from within with an intense sparkling light. It has a tracery of auroric radiance within and around it.

  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Quarter of a dimin long, four fifths of a dimin wide and nineteen twentieths of a dimin tall
  • Extras: May be used similarly to a wand.
  • Description:
This is the ancient Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistos, upon which the visionary father of the magickal arts
inscribed the core principles from which the myriad orders of modern-day mages derive their systems of wonder-working.
Above and beyond this historical value, many find significance in the fact that the Thrice-Blessed encoded his symbolic
insights into the tablet in telesmic medium, empowering it to act as a potent esoteric weapon, and that many of its
possessors since that day have added their contributions to the invisible construct within, increasing its power.
Despite its diminutive size, this age-patina'd tablet of emerald symbolizes tremendous power for those with the eyes
to see it. It is permeated by a dim auroric radiance. It has a tracery of shimmering radiance within and around it.

  • Location: Shadow Tower
  • Materials: sixty-seven percent marcasite and thirty-three percent dweomer
  • Damage Types:
  • Restrictions:
  • Size:
  • Extras: When uncharged, will absorb a warpstone in the environment or in the inventory of the possessor. When charged, provides wingless flight. The charge does not last very long, and provides no expiration warning. The charge reportedly lasts longer with higher Order Favour.
  • Description:

This is an orb made of marcasite. The quality of its craftsmanship is excellent. This is Gaumontar Korryn, orb of office of the witch-king Tielnoth in the days of the Altrian Empire. Tales would have it that not only did the orb provide him with the power of flight, the better to survey his domain, but formed a powerful magickal focus that continually drew spiritual energy from his surroundings and channeled it into him. By some accounts, the bounty that Tielnoth's court paid for warpstones during his reign was not out of any concern for his people, but rather because he used them as a power source for this artifact. It is permeated by a dim auroric radiance. You estimate that it is worth something upward of two thousand five hundred gold. It looks about nine twentieths of a dimin across. It weighs very little.

  • Extras:
  • Description:
This is a pair of tressards made of tenebrax. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. You recognize it as Kerisvexian, an
artifact of uncertain origins. Reportedly, wearing it upon one's wings, aside from protecting them quite well while causing
minimal interference with their mobility, enhances one's speed, agility, and certain aspects of mental focus. Further,
subvocalizing the device's name while wearing it causes it to generate a potent magickal aura with its own unique properties,
including additional protection, a frequent tendency to harm those attacking Kerisvexian's wearer, and enhancements to mobility.
It is permeated by an auroric radiance. It is in perfect condition. It is intermediate in size, and definitely too small for
you. It appears to you as if it was crafted for a mazikah. It looks about six and three quarters dimins long, five and
a twentieth dimins wide, a tenth of a dimin tall, and a twentieth of a dimin thick. It weighs about nine hundredths of a dekan.
You estimate its value at about four thousand seven hundred fifty gold.

Klisderamna Korryn

  • Type: Orb
  • Location: Finwe in Valathyr
  • Materials: sixty-seven percent andesite and thirty-three percent dweomer
  • Damage Types: burning sky
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Nine twentieths of a dimin across
  • Extras: When charged, gives situational awareness and discharges burning sky. Uses syrax for charging.
  • Description:
This is an orb made of glowing yellow andesite. The quality of its craftsmanship is excellent. It pulses
slowly with an intense yellow light, in a rhythm almost like the breathing of someone asleep. This is
Klisderamna Korryn, the mysterious orb carried by the merchant prince Habal Motusson in the early days of the
Altrian Empire. To it are ascribed the sudden deaths of a number of highwaymen who set upon him, as well as his
often-uncanny reflexes. Motusson is said to have always been on the lookout for the exotic metallic resin called
syrax, and to have paid high prices for it; there may be a connection with this artifact involved. It is permeated
by a dim auroric radiance.

Levitational

  • Type:
  • Location: Rajan Windship
  • Materials: Quartz
  • Damage Types:
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: It looks about one and eleven twentieths dimins on a side. It weighs about seven and a half dekans.
  • Extras:
  • Description: This is an exquisitely-crafted quartz cube, about a dimin and a half on a side, with a gold model of a ship floating within it. You know this for a levitational, a magickal device designed to keep a windship afloat. These devices are of great value, and there are but three known cities where the art of their make is known.

Seismometron

  • Type: Box
  • Location: Kiralyn the Dust Scout
  • After being scried, it would seem that sometimes the sand worm eats Kiralyn and the Seismometer is dropped there.
  • Materials: forty-three percent sandalwood, twenty-nine percent copper, twenty-one percent iron, four percent melange, and four percent ivory
  • Damage Types: N/A
  • Restrictions: N/A
  • Extras: Finds the Sand Worm.
  • Description: This is a rectangular box constructed from sandalwood set into a simple black iron frame. An ivory inlay on the box's side is faded with age, but still clearly shows some manner of giant multisegmented worm. While obviously hollow, there is no apparent means to open the box, although a copper dial mounted on a delicate spring mechanism protrudes from a small opening in the device's top surface. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. You know this to be a relic of ages past called Seismometron, long employed by desert scavengers who seek to harvest melange -- whether for profit, or their own addictions. The box contains a series of tiny springs which are extremely sensitive to vibrations. When placed on flat ground, the device uses these sensitive springs to detect the ground shaking movements of the giant worms that excrete melange as a waste product even from a great distance away. More importantly, the dial atop the mechanism will point towards the source of these vibrations, when possible. Historically, there were a great many such devices, but tracking gargantuan, man-eating worms in the desert wastes comes with its own unique set of dangers, so most of these have been lost to the ages. It looks about one dimin on a side. You estimate its value at about four thousand gold. It looks about one dimin on a side. It weighs about four and seven tenths dekans.

Sharra

  • Type: Intense Red Psionic matrix

  • Extras: Increases equilibrium skill under unknown circumstances.
    • Personality: Aggressive, didn't comunicate.
  • Description: This is a large, intense red quartz crystal in the shape of a beveled rectangle. The crystalline structure of the stone has special resonance properties which enable it to function as a psionic matrix. Those with psionic capabilities can psychically bond with the matrix and use it as a focusing device and repository of mental energy. You recognize this as the Sharra Matrix, a consciousness-bearing psionic matrix of such power that it has been worshipped as a deity -- perhaps in hopes of influencing its incredibly volatile nature.

Hand of Vazaith

  • Location: Helborg
  • Type: Improvised weapon
  • Materials: ninety-one percent qlippotam and nine percent flesh
  • Damage Types: cutting, entropic, unholy, poison
  • Discharges: arcs of infernal lightning, streamers of foul darkness, streamers of swirling darkness,
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: It looks less than a twentieth of a dimin on a side.
  • Extras: Does *not* Force-intro Unholy Taint. Tries to suffocate targets. Transfers vitality from its victims. Provides a +20 to thanaturgy. Try throwing it at a target for extra grins and giggles. Holding it without enough unholy taint makes it kill the hell out of you. It may also choose to attack on its own initiative while simply laying on the ground.
  • Description: This is a withered, desiccated, gray-mottled black hand. Its fingernails are long, black, and slightly curled. Its texture is leathery and somehow slimy, despite the thing's dried-out appearance. A foul stench of decay wafts from it. You recognize it as the severed hand of the lich Vazaith, infused with his dark power and his undying malice.

  • Damage Types: Depends on ammo launched.

In Sanolin's hands at all times rested Shadowsbane, a gleaming silver crossbow which radiated an aura of purity. Undead and their ilk crumbled to dust when a bolt from Shadowsbane penetrated their dark hearts. The village was kept safe until, on one fateful day, Sanolin was kidnapped by a band of slave-hunting vlekthid. The crossbow fell to the ground, its light blinking out. Almost instantly, the terrible Ytzine plague decimated the village, killing all but Sanolin and the vlekthid raiders, who had escaped. Shadowsbane choked in the filth of the village for many years, but now, it has been unearthed, to destroy impurity once again. It is permeated by a white light. It is in perfect condition.

Metaflux

  • Type: All, random.
  • Location: Random
  • Materials: fifty-nine percent warpstone, twenty-nine percent xorakas, and twelve percent shekhinam
  • Damage Types: All, random.
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: All, random.
  • Extras:
  • Description:
This is a da kan dau composed of dark purple warpstone. Occasional bursts
of energy arc forth from it. Legend tells of the creation of Metaflux, the
mightiest weapon of chaos to be produced all through the age of the Altrian
Empire. It was forged from a warpstone, bathed in the energies of the Abyss
and shaped by the powers of the mightiest Chaos Lords. It was given to the
Discordian hero Her High-and-Mightyness Alabastrozenithenia, Priestess of the
Large Cheese Biscuit and Nomad of the Raptured Dessert (sic), to combat the
threat posed to the forces of chaos by the one known as Grayface. Thanks to
the heroic efforts and tremendous sex appeal of Alabastrozenithenia, Grayface
was thwarted, and Metaflux was placed somewhere it would, according to
Alabastrozenithenia, be "nice and safe". Wherever that may have been,
evidently it is there no longer. The tales of Metaflux clearly describe its
continual shifting through a bizarre variety of forms and its deployment of a
host of elemental energies, often assuming a particular shape and set of
capabilities at the worst possible moment for either the wielder or hir
opponent. It appears to be composed of a few thin wisps of pulsing, chaotic
glow. It is in perfect condition. It looks about five and nine tenths dimins
long, two fifths of a dimin wide and a twentieth of a dimin tall. It weighs
about one dekan. You estimate that it is worth something upward of four
thousand five hundred gold. It is empty. You are holding it.

Whatnot

  • Type: "Weapons" (Becomes anything defined as a weapon type but isn't a "normal" weapon, utensils, tools, random wacky things like dusters and hand puppets.)
  • Location: Presumably Random (Found it in a stasis egg)
  • Materials: fifty-nine percent warpstone, twenty-nine percent xorakas, and twelve percent shekhinam
  • Damage Types: All, random.
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Random, based on weapon type.
  • Extras: Is a Taraxi-style weapon, so affected by factors that improve those.
  • Description:
This is a needle composed of warpstone. Occasional bursts of energy arc
forth from it. According to legend, the Discordian artifact Whatnot was
created when such a mighty blow was struck with the not-entirely-dissimilar
Metaflux that a piece snapped off. The details of who was striking
whom are a matter of such wild and varied contention as to be best left to the
imagination. Like Metaflux, Whatnot is described as continually shifting
through a bizarre variety of forms and bringing forth a wide variety of
esoteric energies. It appears to be composed of a few thin wisps of pulsing
chaotic glow. You estimate its value at about four thousand seven hundred
fifty gold. You are holding it.

The Pestilent Crown

  • Type: Crown
  • Location:
  • Materials: sixty-seven percent shekhinam and thirty-three percent rosewood
  • Damage Types: wearing gives you a vomit attack
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: It looks about a tenth of a dimin across and one and three fifths dimins around.
  • Extras: Contact with the crown will cause the Rot of Ugior and other diseases.
  • Description:
This is a crown made of rosewood barbs. The quality of its craftsmanship is poor.
It looks diseased, the spiky intertwined thorns twisted and mottled with weird growths.
You know this for the Pestilent Crown, a deceptively potent artifact that reputedly
came into being at the will of Ugior himself. It is a breeding ground for disease,
inflicting horrible plagues upon those wearing or even near it -- though frequently enough
those are Ugior's own cultists, who welcome such pestilences into their bodies. It protects
its wearer with subtle and powerful magicks, including the capacity to partially nullify the
poisons that are ordinarily a bane to disease affinites. It is permeated by a prismatic
radiance.

  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Crafted for a Kedeth
  • Extras:
  • Description:
This is a hauberk made of amber diamond gem spikes and carbonite heavy mail. The quality
of its craftsmanship is exquisite. Its links are impossibly thin and tightly-knit, forming
a nearly impermeable barrier that is nonetheless light and flexible. You recognize it as
Xaoloth Yith, an artifact dating back to the era before the founding of the Istax Empire.
It was constructed by the kedethkral smith Llunthu as her answer to the parageoro of the Chaos
Knights, and is infused with powers which, while focused in somewhat different areas than
that of paraxoro, in many ways excel theirs.

Czaklash

  • Type: Bastard sword
  • Location: Lakhan
  • Materials: seventy-one percent dweomer, fourteen percent logos, seven percent lightning, and seven percent adamantium
  • Damage Types: Electrical, possibly some primal
  • Restrictions: If not held or wielded, will quickly depart back to Lakan.
  • Size:
  • Extras: Discharges arcs of lightning.
  • Description:

This is a bastard sword with a black adamantium hilt engraved with arcane runes and a blade that appears to be made of solidified lightning. It gives off a continual hissing and crackling as its energies seethe and churn. The quality of its craftsmanship is unearthly. You recognize it as Czaklash, an artifact of power created by agencies unknown in the distant past. The substance of its blade is indeed lightning made solid, and the potency of these energies is said to be such that even beings normally unfazed by electrical discharges can be harmed or killed by this weapon. Its power and nature are believed to derive from the outer plane of Lakan, mainly because when it is found, it is nearly always there, and it seems able to return there when not held closely by an owner. It is permeated by an auroric radiance. It has a tracery of lightning and a webwork of shimmering radiance within and around it. It is in perfect condition. It looks about thirteen and a half dimins long, seven tenths of a dimin wide, and a twentieth of a dimin tall. It weighs about eleven fortieths of a dekan. It is giving off light. You estimate that it is worth something upward of seven thousand five hundred gold. You are holding it.

  • Restrictions:
  • Size: 2 fifths of a dimin wide and twelve and a half dimins long

  • Description:
Grumhella is the legendary blade held by the elder of the Demonese people.

weapon himself, eons ago. The blade is rather notched, due to decades of use,
but still holds a keen edge, despite its age and history.
It looks about two fifths of a dimin wide and twelve and a half dimins long.
It weighs about five and nine twentieths dekans.

Kamonthept-Ka

  • Type: scarab

  • Size:
  • Extras: Forces +1 specialization in unholy taint (wil)
  • Description: This is a scarab made of aelithandar. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. This is Kamonthept-Ka, a relic of the ancient world. Worn by various of the greatest warriors of the Istax Empire, those who opposed its bearer are said to have fallen with their strength consumed. Yet, one way or another, those bearers always met their end regardless, some of them in particularly horrific ways. You estimate its value at about five thousand seven hundred gold. You are holding it.
Don't be a noob and put this on until you've given up on (mental) talent pops

Meridiandal

  • Type: sword
  • Location: Random Load
  • Materials:
  • Damage Types: Order
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: Longsword
  • Extras: Gives +60% attack rating
  • Description:
This is a steel longsword of unearthly craftsmanship, with an edge whose
glitter seems less a matter of reflecting light than of slicing it to shards.
The apparent skill of its forging makes less of an impression, however, than
the lines of glowing energy embedded within it, forming an odd pattern that
tugs at the mind like a distant snatch of a song that one has not heard since
childhood. This blade is named Meridiandal, and if legend holds true, it is
the personal blade of Gavadel of Amber, and the lines within it are an image
of a fragment of the Pattern, the source of cosmic order. It is permeated by
a shimmering radiance. You estimate that it is worth something upward of six
thousand gold.
   It is in perfect condition.
It looks about a twentieth of a dimin wide and fifteen dimins long.

The Shroud of Xent

  • Type: Shroud (headgear)
  • Location: Random load
  • Materials: Hemlock
  • Damage Types:
  • Restrictions:
  • Size:
  • Extras: Provides a source of hemlock. Poisons the wearer.
  • Description:
This is a cowl made of hemlock. The quality of its craftsmanship is excellent. Its growth of
leaves is very thick. At first consideration, it is difficult to conceive of what sort of
person would voluntarily wear a garment that kept hir head in continual contact with hemlock
leaves. You recognize it as the Shroud of Xent. Certain Nizari assassins spend years
acclimating themselves to myriad poisons, and one such individual was known as Xent the Shiv.
Xent was particularly fond of poisons and used them extensively to perform Kali's work
throughout the land. Through his extensive study of botany, Kali's favor, and a modicum of
magickal dabbling, Xent was able to enchant a hemlock plant to require no soil or water, and
wove the plant into a cowl for his head. Considered eccentric by most Nizari, Xent was
nonetheless respected for his work, and his creation undeniably provided not only substantial
magickal protection, but also a ready supply of hemlock leaves, invaluable to an experienced
Nizari.
It is permeated by an auroric radiance. It is in perfect condition. It is intermediate in
size, and definitely too small for you. It appears to you as if it was crafted for a human.
It looks about one and three fifths dimins across and a tenth of a dimin thick. It weighs
about a twentieth of a dekan. You estimate its value at about four thousand two hundred fifty
gold.

One can pluck a leaf from it. The Shroud of Xent was created by Erebus; the source code was

Whammo

  • Type: Yo-yo
  • Location': Random load
  • Materials: Sixty-two percent diamond, thirty-one percent xorakas, six percent shekhinam, and one percent adamantium.
  • Damage Types: Semi-randomish, with an apparent bias towards chaotic ones.
  • Restrictions: Unknown
  • Size: About four fifths of a dimin across and a fifth of a dimin long. Weighs about sixty-three two-hundred-fiftieths of a dekan.
  • Extras: Unknown
  • Description:
This is a yo-yo, a short, broad cylinder with a cord wrapped
around it, used by essentially throwing the cylinder while allowing the cord
to unwind, then reeling the cylinder back along the cord, made of adamantium
cable and cyan diamond. The quality of its craftsmanship is unearthly.
Sparkling motes of endlessly shifting colors dance and flicker in its
crystalline depths. You recognize this as Whammo, a somewhat obscure weapon
of power crafted by one Blurb, at the time a disciple of the Master of Yo in Darking Bog.
Blurb was said by some to have been touched by Eris; the rest were of the opinion that he was
smacked with considerable force. The device, crafted in the form of an
idiosyncratic weapon type used by the Gobnog boglins of Darking Bog, is said
to contain potent energies of chaos and to be extremely deadly in the hands of
the right individual. It is permeated by a dim, pulsing chaotic glow. It has
a tracery of coruscating silvery radiance within and around it.

Chaos Fang

(Removed from game, change 6722)

  • Type:

  • Materials: lzarawn
  • Damage Types:
  • Restrictions:
  • Size: It looks about three twentieths of a dimin wide and four and seventeen twentieths dimins long.
  • Extras: Curses you if you wield it long enough, causing your alignment to drift towards D/C and occasionally forcing you to attack (But seemingly only if you're no longer carrying the waepon, nothing happened to my alignment or anything until I actually stopped having it.). Curse does not wear off until well after the blade is relinquished. (After an incredibly significant amount of time, numbering in hours.)
  • Description:
A dagger formed from the netherworld material lzarawn, a product of foul sorcery. Its hilt is forged badly but its misshapen blade is sharpened to
unbelievable keenness. Closer examination shows the material to be very slightly translucent, its black iridescence sparkling within as the dagger seems
to move slightly of its own volition. A vaguely serpentine form twines down the hilt to the pommel, where two green tourmaline gems are set like eyes. It
appears to be composed of a few thin wisps of foulness.

famed for their curative effects. The golden horn is said to cure all manner of madness and mental disorder. Once the
power of a unicorn horn is used, it will be depleted for a time while the horn slowly absorbs mana from the surrounding
environment. You can sense that this one is presently filled with power. You can also sense that it was taken when its
bearer was slain, rather than being given freely. This is the Horn of Calais, containing the final, captured essence of
the unicorn that once roamed the forested precinct of Calais. It is permeated by an auroric radiance. It has a
tracery of white light within and around it.

Quantum

  • Type Dagger
  • Location Mok A'tal
  • Materials sixty-seven percent lexoth, twenty percent logos, and thirteen percent iron
  • Damage Type Sonic, piercing
  • Restrictions
  • Size Three fifths of a dimin wide and seven and thirteen twentieths dimins long
  • Extras The syntax for the activation word is subvocalize los
  • Description:
This is an iron spike just above two dimins in length. Though it could be employed as a weapon, it would seem to be rather unwieldy. You know it to
be Quantum, a curious device of clearly alien origins. It first appeared within the realm of Lost Souls less than a decade ago and since has passed through
the hands of over a dozen of the world's most intuitive sages. For years, nothing could be gleaned about the spike until the Mad Artificer, Leonid of Devonshire,
chanced upon it while visiting with Ravlin Tormuk. Fascinated by the untapped power he sensed within the object, Leonid nonchalantly secreted it away in one
of his trouser pockets. Nestled in his hidden laboratory, he studied the spike at length until his interest began to fade. In a last effort to understand the
nature of the alien artifact, he shoved it beneath his pillow as he lay down to sleep. Though he had tried many times in the past to learn about such mysterious
items as the spike through osmosis, he had yet to succeed. By some unknown design, he did in fact succeed with Quantum. As he slept, all the secrets of the
spike flowed into his subconscious mind. He awoke the next morning and with pen in hand, sat down to record all he had learned. He stretched as he completed
his task, and keeping true to form, caught the ink pot with a clumsy swing of his arm, spilling ink across his freshly penned scrolls. Leonid left the ruined
parchments where they sat soaking up ink in disgust. When he returned two days later, only three words remained -- and these were scarcely legible. The words,
as passed along with the story of Leonid's antics, are: Quantum, which Leonid assures is the spike's proper name, and los and anul. Unfortunately, Leonid
neglected to mention to anyone the meaning of the latter. Many believe them to be activation words, though the manner in which they are to be applied is left
to wide and fanciful speculation. It is permeated by a silvery light.
