(o the Travelers o)
This is a male human with golden skin, white hair, and sparkling sky blue eyes. He is completely nude, but does not seem particularly aware of it. This is Tyrice, also known as Amon Tyrice, also known as the Traveler. His history on Lost Souls extends far beyond the lifetime of most humans. He founded and disbanded the Astromancers, a group of magi who trafficked in strange cosmic energies. Many years later, after his supposed death, he reappeared, empowered by unknown parties to be able to produce wondrous effects of conjuration. His followers became known as Travelers, for their ability and propensity to roam everywhere in the known cosmos. Most recently he has become something of a high priest for Ganesha, god of freedom, travels, gateways, and obstacles. It is unknown whether this is what was empowering him all along or if it is a recent conversion. Evidence for the former is that his followers, priests of Ganesha, still call themselves Travelers, and exhibit largely the same abilities as before -- though with a decidedly more devotional bent. He looks about eighteen dimins tall, five and thirteen twentieths dimins wide and one and two fifths dimins long. He is in good shape, is surrounded by an aura of cosmic star-filled blue and is giving off light. He has a vishuddha chakra on his throat, a svadhisthana chakra on his lower abdomen, a sahasrara chakra above his head, a red glyph between his legs, a yellow glyph on his solar plexus, a green glyph on his upper chest and an indigo glyph on his forehead.
You can ask Tyrice to tell you about katakacha, chakras, dharma, karma, karma phala, conceptual navigation, Ganesha, obstacles, the map here, or the Travelers.
To join the Travelers, tell Tyrice that you want to become one. To leave, tell him that you wish to leave them. Be warned that leaving Ganesha's favor incurs certain penalties until one has regained it.
Tyrice is an instructor and responds to the following verbal commands: Availability inquiry: Tyrice, what do you teach? Cost inquiry: Tyrice, what would a lesson in <subject> cost? Instruction request: Tyrice, teach me <subject(s)>.
I had to be Charitable before Tyrice would allow me to join the Travelers. I was Patterned as well, but I don't know if there was a law/chaos requirement.
His limbs are named head, chest, right arm, left arm, right hand, left hand, right leg, left leg, right foot and left foot. Tyrice is an instructor and responds to the following verbal commands: Availability inquiry: Tyrice, what do you teach? Cost inquiry: Tyrice, what would a lesson in <subject> cost? Instruction request: Tyrice, teach me <subject(s)>.

You hiss, "i want to become a traveler" in flowingly-accented Anglic. Tyrice says, (o You wish to be a devotee of the remover and placer of obstacles? Prove it. Overcome one of Ganesha's obstacles. You may request one of me, if you like. o) to you in Anglic. You hiss, "i requessst a challenge" in flowingly-accented Anglic. Tyrice says, (o You must trust me to receive a challenge from Ganesha. o) in Anglic.
You say, [- i want to become a traveler -] in beautifully-accented Anglic. You no longer specialize in scholarship. You are now a first-degree specialist in abjuration, conjuration, goetic investiture, invocation, order affinity, sephirotic affinity, and theurgy. Golden-skinned male human says, (o Excellent! May your journeys be long and enlightening. o) (o Traveler Tyrice o) "Evoke has joined our fold."
Guild Main Helpfile
You are a Traveler, a wandering priest of priest of Ganesha, lord of gateways, places and remover of obstacles, guide to enlightenment, protector to freedom. A Traveler's primary task is overcoming obstacles: overcoming them himself, and helping others overcome them. As he does so, he will find himself rewarded by Ganesha in many ways. These rewards are called bestowals, and they are primarily of two types: recurring boons, most of which can be acquired by anyone, and more permanent boons that can be acquired only by Travelers. You have acquired twenty permanent bestowals. Travelers spend their lives spreading freedom and enlightenment, journeying across the world and doing good deeds, in a never-ending quest to better their understanding of kharma and dharma. Doing so brings them closer to Ganesha, makes their invocations and powers more effective, enables them to discover hidden energy stores in themselves in the form of chakras, allowed them to live longer -- and has other, still stranger effects. As a Traveler you are able to invoke Ganesha to various effects. See 'help invocations' for more details.
Invocations
You are able to invoke Ganesha by reciting certain mantras to him in Archaen. More invocations will be revealed to you the more obstacles you overcome. Each invocation has its own help file. You must be in a fairly calm state to invoke Ganesha; you cannot invoke him while moving around or fighting. The invocations known to you are as follows: Gajakarnikaya Gam Ganapataye Ganadhyakshaya Kadantaya Kapilaya Kshipra Prasadaya Lambodaraya Sharananm Shree Ganesh Vighna Nashanaya Vikataya Vahana Dhimahi
Dhimahi
the invocation Dhimahi Energy Costs : five hundred points of spiritual energy Invocation Mantra : o lord Ganesha, whose massive body is supreme and perfect, to whom we meditate and pray and bow and revere, let it be known to you that it is known to <target> that the most severe obstacle brings the most lucid enlightenment Those who are serious about enlightenment can receive an advanced challenge, which has not only an obstacle and a requirement, but also a taboo and a forfeit. The taboo is something that must not be done. If the taboo is violated, then the challenge ends in failure, and a punishment, the forfeit, is brought down upon the challengee. These challenges are considerably more difficult but also considerably more rewarding than ordinary challenges. For this invocation to work, the target must explicitly trust you; Ganesha will not inflict these challenges upon those that do not desire them. If the target completes this challenge, it will be partly by your action that this result came about, and your karma phala will perforce increase. Kadantaya
the invocation Kadantaya Ability Determinants : invocation skill plus charisma Energy Costs : one hundred points of spiritual energy Invocation Mantra : o lord Ganesha, the elephant-faced who is like the sun to the lotus-faced Parvati, placer of obstacles, grant me a challenge so that I might find wisdom Ganesha not only removes but places obstacles. The primary mode of adoration of a Traveler is to request one deliberately in obsecration. By reciting this mantra, one entreats Ganesha to both show one a path, and to bar it. Finding one's way to the end of the path in spite of the obstacle will remove the obstacle, bring a direct divine reward from Ganesha, and increasing one's karma phala, enlightenment, and freedom. The shapes that one knows are dependent on one's weapon lore. Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Sun Jun 07 12:40:09 2009.
Kshipra Prasadaya
the invocation Kshipra Prasadaya Ability Determinants : 50% of invocation skill plus 25% of conjuration skill plus 25% of ergimancy skill plus 75% of charisma plus 25% of intelligence Energy Costs : one hundred points of spiritual energy Invocation Mantra : o lord Ganesha, master of all obstacles, for whom chaos never was and never will be, in my time of need help me see the path that I walk, the path starting when the world hatched from its egg, ending in eternity This invocation entreats Ganesha for a brahmanda-prakasa, a world-egg, a reflection of the cosmos at its birth. The brahmanda-brakasa manifests itself as an aura of starry, cosmic energy. The aura will protect one in innumerable ways. The higher one's karma phala, and ability with this invocation, the more effective its protection will be. To release the brahmanda-prakasa, repeat the invocation. Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Sun Jun 07 12:40:09 2009.
Lambodaraya
the invocation Lambodaraya Ability Determinants : 50% of conjuration skill plus 50% of invocation skill plus 25% of intelligence plus 75% of charisma Energy Costs : five hundred points of spiritual energy Invocation Mantra : o leader of the pramada ganas, one who is the color of vermillion, with an elephant's visage and a hanging belly, I offer obeisance to you first, and ask that you grant me a tool with which I may seek more knowledge This invocation requests of Ganesha that he offer you a divinely mediated bond with a katakacha, a sessile, metamorphic creature made of beautiful crystal. Katakacha are an ancient people who were nearly driven to extinction by the kazar until a climatic intervention by Ganesha preserved them. They aid the Travelers out of gratitude for this act. A katakacha conjured in this manner will remain with one permanently. If it is ever lost or destroyed for some reason, performing this mantra again will conjure another. Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Sun Jun 07 12:40:09 2009.

This mantra entreats Ganesha to destroy any kazar blades present on the invoker and to empower the invoker as a reward. The reasons for the effects of this mantra are obscured in history, but it is generally thought to be related to the sacred nature of the katakacha.
Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Thu Oct 21 15:10:46 2010.
Note: Kazarithax weapons are also destroyed via this invocation, not just the bondable type.
Shree Ganesh
the invocation Shree Ganesh Ability Determinants : invocation skill plus charisma Energy Costs : five points of spiritual energy Invocation Mantra : o lord Ganesha, radiant as millions of suns, remove your obstacles from <my/target's> path The Shree Ganesh mantra allows the Traveler to entreat Ganesha to remove one of his obstacles from those who have been unable to overcome it themselves. For one to perform this on a person besides oneself, that person must explicitly trust the Traveler. An obstacle removed in this way is tantamount to forfeiting a challenge. Ganesha is kind enough to remove an obstacle from any who need it, but firm enough to show no charity beyond mercy for the forfeiter. The challenger will receive none of the benefits for overcoming it, other than the removable of the obstacle, and the challenger will not be able to receive a new challenge from Ganesha for another day. Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Sun Jun 07 12:40:09 2009.

This invocation requests of Ganesha that he offer you a divinely mediated bond with an amphiptere, a winged serpent, to serve as a holy mount.
An amphiptere conjured in this manner will remain with one permanently. If you ever become separated from your serpent, performing this mantra again will summon it to your side once more.
Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Thu Feb 11 10:57:34 2010.
You say, [- o rider of the five vahanas, I besearch you that you grant me one, that I may travel to further lands and know more distant knowledge, that I may find greater obstacles and deliver more obstacles -] in Archaen. You stop meditating. You feel a bit groggy, coming out of your meditative state. Tiny iridescent motes of light surround your mouth as it gives form to the words; you feel Ganesha's influence begin to flow through you. You concentrate and let Ganesha's influence continue to build within you. You cannot begin meditating because you are busy performing the invocation vahana. A sonorous ring fills the air, as though a chime has been sounded. You sense Ganesha working across cosmic distances, and feel the beginnings of a strange emotional bond. You sense a new emotional need opening up within you -- an incompleteness you never fully grasped, the need for a true soulmate of some kind -- along with the desire and ability to fulfill that need and to complete yourself. The huge red-winged green-scaled serpent appears in the air in a burst of prismatic sparks. The huge red-winged green-scaled serpent flies to your side. You feel spiritually exhausted but deeply contented, as though you have been made more complete. The huge red-winged green-scaled serpent is limned with an enormous faintly shimmering dark green dweomer aura. Your hair turns green.
Vighna Nashanaya
the invocation Vighna Nashanaya Ability Determinants : invocation skill plus charisma Energy Costs : ten points of spiritual energy Invocation Mantra : o Ganesha, lord of hosts, who dwells at the base of my spine, who tastes the kapitta and the jamboophala and remembers all things, reveal the paths you have opened to me This invocation requests of Ganesha that he reminds you of the locations that you have designated as landmarks on your journey. Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Sun Jun 07 18:14:37 2009.
Vikataya
the invocation Vikataya Ability Determinants : 40% of invocation skill plus 30% of conjuration skill plus 30% of ergimancy skill plus 45% of intelligence plus 55% of charisma Energy Costs : two hundred points of spiritual energy Invocation Mantra : o greatest Ganesha, whose single tusk overcomes the duplicity of appearance, help me see this world as a dream and a drama, and let me dance across the texts that give everyone a role, and let me find myself in the <nth> passage I have marked This invocation allows one to use the power of Ganesha to skip across the symbolic space that is the foundation for all cosmoi, and traverse the universe conceptually rather than physically. The frequency with which one can use this invocation depends upon one's ability in it. Development Information : This invocation was created by Den and is maintained by Twilight; the source code was last updated Sun Jun 07 12:48:21 2009.
