One of the stratagems employed by demonic Sauron in his dark machinations is the creation of his thralls, the beings called Ringwielders. He has the ability to create certain Rings of Power which grant abilities much coveted by mortal beings. He is known to grant these to those with the courage to petition him; there is a catch, however, in that one accepts the ring only in exchange for eternally sacrificing one's will to Sauron.
The power of the Rings is focused in runes inscribed upon them. 'help runes' has further information on these.
A Ringwielder possesses certain senses that aid in the service of Sauron; 'help ringwielder senses' describes them.
The Ringwielders are not a secret society. If you wish to pass along word to other mortals about how they may offer themselves in service to the Master, by all means, go ahead. Specific information about the operation of runes should be kept from outsiders, but may be discussed with other Ringwielders if one desires, though the advantage of sharing secrets one might otherwise have to oneself is questionable.
A unique property possessed by Ringwielders is their immateriality, a fascinating side-effect of the use of the Rings. 'help immateriality' contains more information.
See 'help Ringwielder credits' for development credits on the Ringwielders.
