Chi Shield

Aisenshi who have developed their chi to a highly refined degree can extend it
into a protective shield around themselves. Because this shield is an
expression of the aisenshi's own nature, it does not seek to interfere with the
true contest of skill between warriors; rather, it blocks elemental forces,
weird energies, and other effects that the true warrior eschews. Once brought
up, your chi shield will remain in place until it has gone a measure of time
without being used, and will then fade away on its own. There is a drain upon
one's spiritual energy when the chi shield acts to dissipate attacks, but it
is very modest in comparison to the effect achieved.
