 +There certainly seems to be SOME sort of connection between gem types. For instance, Twilight Iouns are nearly always Onyx. Others--like Feline Grace, as you mentioned--stick to tiger eyes. I believe that the variations we see in some iouns are due to this:

There certainly seems to be SOME sort of connection between gem types. For instance, Twilight Iouns are nearly always Onyx. Others--like Feline Grace, as you mentioned--stick to tiger eyes.
