You sense a new emotional need opening up within you -- an incompleteness you never fully grasped, the need for a true soulmate of some kind -- along with the desire and ability to fulfill that need and to complete yourself.

You are now a second-degree specialist in eructation and sky fieldcraft.
You are now a third-degree specialist in pain tolerance.
You are now a fourth-degree specialist in killer instinct.
You are now a fifth-degree specialist in resilience.
You are now a sixth-degree specialist in intimidation, load bearing, massive blow and steadiness.
You are now an eighth-degree specialist in recuperation.
You are now a ninth-degree specialist in stamina.
You are now a twelfth-degree specialist in massive exertion.
You are now a twenty-fourth-degree specialist in hardiness.
You feel your deformed chest burn strangely for a moment.
You no longer specialize in arctic fieldcraft, desert fieldcraft, forestry, hills fieldcraft, jungle fieldcraft, mountaineering, orienteering,
ownership, plains fieldcraft, rune lore, shorelands fieldcraft or swamp fieldcraft.
You are now a first-degree specialist in animal lore, archery, cold tolerance, eructation, foraging, heat tolerance, plant lore, sky fieldcraft and
tracking.
You are now a second-degree specialist in killer instinct and pain tolerance.
You are now a third-degree specialist in intimidation, load bearing, massive blow, resilience and steadiness.
You are now a fifth-degree specialist in leadership and recuperation.
You are now a sixth-degree specialist in stamina.
You are now a ninth-degree specialist in massive exertion.
You are now a twentieth-degree specialist in hardiness.

You sense that you have one method by which you can form an empathic bond: a full essence bond via spiritual germination, a means provided by the Verynvelyrae. This bond is fulfilled by <§> Meg <§>, with whom your connection is complete. You sense that he is starving and dying of thirst. You may break your empathic bond with him by concentrating on doing so.

You sense that this bond is enabling you to perform several charms, arcane feats accomplished by simple mental acts.
First, the ability to urge your familiar to specific action. This ability can be used even if you do not know where your familiar is. To do this,
concentrate on urging your familiar to undertake the desired action.
Second, the ability to send your familiar to safety. This ability can be used even if you do not know where your familiar is. To do this,
concentrate on sending your familiar to safety.
Third, the ability to see through your familiar's eyes. This ability can be used even if you do not know where your familiar is. To do this,
concentrate on seeing what your familiar sees.
Fourth, the ability to refresh a gland depleted of hormones. To do this, concentrate on replenishing the glands of the desired person or creature.
Fifth, the ability to call your familiar to your side. To do this, concentrate on calling your familiar.

Special Abilities

Rysas: Apart from the specialty access in eructation, Drake familiars provide the Breath attack maneuver. In my case, this happened as soon as I reached a bond strength of resilient. At resilient, I also received 1 extra bonus spec in load bearing, resilience, steadiness, massive blow, massive exertion, recuperation and stamina.

Note: the Breath attack does not seem to rely on the chosen color of drake but on affinities instead. I'm bonded to a dark brown (fire) drake and do order damage with my breath attack.
