The Apagion Race

This is a spherical region of opalescent white light that pulses in a regular, calming pattern. You recognize this as an apagion, a kind of energy being composed of magickal power. Ordinary weapons do them no harm, but the violent emotions of their attackers have been known to fell them where steel cannot.
