Standard Information

Archibald, the Palace Seneschal, is looking for evidence of a rumoured plot to kill King Almior. Uncover the plot, and bring the proof to Archibald. If you fail, the King's life is forfeit.

Kill the thugs hanging around in the southeastern parts of Losthaven until you find a small steel key upon one of them. Then, head down into the sewers, and go 3n, 5w, 5n, e. Now unlock bars with key, open them and go east. Rest here and listen. You'll eventually hear someone above drop a ring. Get the ring, and go to the palace throne room. There, give ring to Archibald. After a minute or so, Archibald will have solved the attempted assassination and reward you with 10,000 gold coins for your efforts.
