   This skill represents the infusion of an essence of the amalgam ash into the substance 
   of one's body, reducing the harm caused by such forces, potentially even to the point 
   where exposure becomes restorative.  This is also true, to a lesser extent, of entropy, 
   elemental earth and fire, and the amalgams magma, eskara, darkness, alkali, cold, and 
   shadow.  One further gains the capacity to store a reserve of amalgamal ash energy, in 
   proportion to one's degree of affinity, should one have access to sources of it.  However, 
   the greater an affinity for ash one develops, the more vulnerable one becomes to the 
   amalgam metal, and to a lesser degree extropy, the amalgams mist, crystal, and light, 
   elemental air and water, and the amalgams acid, heat, and thunder.
