This is a tentacular creature apparently made of dozens or hundreds of steel blades that continually mesh together and spread apart as
it moves.  It is made up of a dozen tentacular lengths of steel, each continually extending and retracting as it moves, attached to a
spherical central body.  You recognize it as a scyrotos skolexis.  While some scyrotoi resemble natural creatures, scyrotoi skolexides
eschew such pedestrian morphology, using their array of tentacles for walking, climbing, swimming, and combat.
