This is a spherical creature apparently made of dozens or hundreds of vanadium blades that continually mesh together and spread
apart as it moves. It has four small tendrils attached to its otherwise-unremarkable surface, and hovers in the air with no
apparent means of support.  You recognize it as a scyrotos kephalis.  Scyrotoi kephalides are not the most formidable of scyrotoi
in themselves, but they are not meant to be; their purpose is to command and assist other scyrotoi nearby.  The presence of a
scyrotos kephalis is the difference between a scattering of dangerous but uncoordinated constructs and a coherent unit of lethal
killing engines.  Even alone, they are not to be completely discounted, being highly evasive and capable of projecting a magickal
beam that can bring madness on its victims.
