By attuning your starshadow aura to virtous energies, you can enjoy a limited amount of protection from forces which wither and corrupt, such as the depredations of chaos, the powers of evil, and the enervation of entropy. The better your skill at controlling your aura and the higher your ascendancy, the greater the protection.
