Description

This is a phylactery, a sort of amulet, of a kind often bearing religious significance, mounted on a long strap, half extending from either side of it, intended to be wrapped around the arm or the forehead, made of black leather. The quality of its craftsmanship is excellent. You recognize this as a Phylactery of Theosophy, bearing within it sacred writings infused with a tiny spark of divine essence, aiding the wearer in achieving spiritual attunement to the gods. Worn in battle, the device's magicks will periodically gather in the bearer's spiritual energy and discharge it in the form of goetic power. It is permeated by a dim opalescent radiance.
