    the Neshamah

    The Neshamah, or mystical soul, is possessed by sapients who attune their minds to metaphysical
and philosophical concepts to a sufficient degree that they are no longer entirely mundane beings;
it is that which grants the capabilities for telesmatic skill, symbolic linkages, and astral
perception.
