As part of their nature, demonic beings have a heightened potential to perceive and interact with the spiritual realm. Hoarul is a process through which demons unlock this potential to allow them to see the subtle energies of the world, engaging a potentially powerful but temporary form of astral perception. The ability to successfully complete Hoarul requires the demon to tap into an emotional state somewhat akin to wonder or amazement -- a tall order for those with jaded souls and for those whose weaker demonic blood requires a deeper connection to this emotional state in order to produce commensurate results.
