Nouhuli is a much-feared ability unique to fomori, allowing them to channel additional power into their searing eyebeams by momentarily focusing on a feeling of superiority and pity towards their target. More fearsomely, those who suffer from mortal wounds quickly come under the influence of the fomor's emotional state when struck by this power in such a weakened state, losing their will to live and swiftly expiring in a wave of hopelessness -- frequently in spectacular fashion.
