Your size is a representation of how large you are. Different races are shaped differently, some being thinner or bulkier; a size 35 human is larger than a size 35 elf. The character's general bulk influences how many hit points he has, how much he may carry, and how easy it is to hit him; the character's height influences where he will tend to land blows in combat, with taller characters striking higher and shorter ones lower.
