Anthropes
"Anthrope" is the general term for a being with the general physical arrangement
of a human: a central body, two arms with hands, two legs with feet, a head. If you
do not know the specific race of a being built on those lines, it will be described
to you with this term.
"Anthropoid" is the adjective form, often used as an anatomical term.
These words are often used with modifiers; for example, a "reptilian anthrope" would have the same general anatomy as a human, possibly with the addition of a tail, and would have reptilian features. Anatomy is often described as a departure from anthropoid form, from as simple as "tailed anthropoid" to such constructions as "four-armed two-headed anthropoid".
