   Bronze is an alloy that comes in a number of mixtures, but is always based
around copper and tin, often with varying amounts of zinc and lead present as
well.  It is nearly as easy to work as brass, but considerably stronger. 
Cultures that have not discovered ironworking often rely on bronze for weapons
and armour.
