the Kheirai
"The kheirai" is a collective term for urgai, bogualu, and trulljai, and, secondarily, the
peoples descended from them. It translates roughly as "the chosen peoples" in both Angrak and
Takargu. The word kheirai is plural; the singular is kheira. The urgai are a kheira, the bogualu
are a kheira, and the trulljai are a kheira; while races descended from these may be or may not be
spoken of as part of the kheirai, depending on speaker and context, such a race is never spoken of
as a kheira.
