This is a huge hemispherical creature apparently made of dozens or hundreds of lead blades that continually mesh together and spread apart as it moves. It has a mound-like, armored-looking form with no apparent means of locomotion, broken only by a wedge-shaped assembly on one side that looks very much like a huge mouth. You recognize it as a scyrotos chelys. Scyrotoi chelydaes, despite their sessile appearance, are surprisingly mobile through the exertion of pressure through their flexible lower surfaces, and while they are difficult to seriously damage, their massive mouths can readily snap through bone.
