This is a spindly, birdlike creature apparently made of dozens or hundreds of rusty iron blades that continually mesh together and
spread apart as it moves.  Its wings are cunningly made so that the armature-mounted blades comprising them shift to vertical
orientation on the upstroke, reducing air resistance, and return to horizontal orientation on the downstroke, powering the
creature's flight.  You recognize it as a scyrotos ornithopsis. Scyrotoi ornithopsides are some of the less bizarre of the
scyrotoi, being formed along the same lines as ordinary birds, though with improvements such as their adaptive wing structure. They
attack with their wings, claws, and beak.
