This is a male nyloc. He has glowing orange eyes and an evanumbra body that tapers off, just below the waist, into a thick tail. Flexible evanumbra wings expand from his back. He is somewhat thin and frail-looking. Nonetheless, you suspect that he has seen his share of combat, like the rest of Shadowmyrk's inhabitants. His eyes contain the spark of a lifetime's knowledge, apparently undimmed by any infirmities of mind from aging. He is surrounded by thick, murky, unnatural darkness.

  • Its a city of nylocs, drows shouldn't bother.
  • Its a city of nylocs, bring a torch, or two (night vision trait at 1 is not enough). Drows can probably bring a torch or two, too, but the uses would be different. Note also that if more than one nyloc enters the same room, their oozing darkness seems to accumulate. However, you do not need to be able to see him to get trained - he needs to see you, which he can do easily.
