   Long ago, when Sauron first appeared in these realms, he swayed 

an elf to forge for him rings of power, with which he could control the hearts of the wearer. When the elf realized the evil intent of Sauron he rebelled and created the Three Rings which Sauron could not control, for he had no part in the forging. To prevent the Three from falling into Sauron's hands a group of the mightiest Elves were trained to fully use their abilities, the Elflords. Elflords are highly skilled fighters who have mastered the arts of temporal magic, chronomancy. To find out about the abilities granted to an Elflord, type 'help elflord abilities'.
