Long ago, when Ahrikol first appeared in these realms, he swayed an elf to forge for him rings of power, with which he could control the hearts of the wearer. When the elf realized the evil intent of Ahrikol, he rebelled and created the Three Rings which Ahrikol could not control, for he had no part in the forging. To prevent the Tree from falling into Ahrikol's hands, a group of the mightiest Elves were trained to fully use their abilities, the Elflords. Elflords are highly skilled fighters who have mastered the arts of temporal magic, chronomancy.
