Bercilak, the Green Knight, is a warrior of immense size and strength. Both the giant himself
and his clothes are a deep, dark green. He has long, flowing, green hair, and a huge beard, like
a bush, hangs over his breast. He wears neither helmet nor hauberk, only soft green garments. This
giant is holding an awe-inspiring axe, huge and foreboding. You also notice that he has a wry smile
on his face and an odd twinkle in his eye, as if he knows something about you, perhaps something you'd
rather others didn't know. He is permeated by a dim auroric radiance. He has a webwork of pulsing
chaotic glow, a webwork of umber radiance, a webwork of sparkling light, and a webwork of surging
  radiance within and around him.
