Your hands are surrounded by crackling, multicolored auras of energy. A couple of spindly, bat-like wings of mana sweep upward from your body mass. A fleshy red-orange comb runs along your left tentacle. The fleshy red-orange fans extend from your tentacles and body mass. The red-orange fronds wave from your tentacles and body mass. Three sections of your body mass are formed into hard, auroric carapaces. Your foretentacle ends in a circular mouth lined with serrated, oblong teeth. Small openings appear at the base and tip of your right tentacle. The surface of your red-orange carculgnath has a translucent sheen to it. This is your doppelganger, an illusory construct sent by Doppel to protect you by serving as a decoy.
After a moment, the knowledge that Polymorph is composed entirely of mana drifts into your mind like a long-forgotten memory. Your clear glass lens of analysis shatters into a fine dust.
