Hidden Skill

This skill represents the infusion of an essence of the amalgam eskara into the substance of one's body, reducing the harm caused by such forces, potentially even to the point where exposure becomes restorative. This is also true, to a lesser extent, of entropy, elemental earth, and the amalgams alkali, ash, salt, darkness, mud, magma, and shadow. One further gains the capacity to store a reserve of amalgamal eskara energy, in proportion to one's degree of affinity, should one have access to sources of it. However, the greater an affinity for eskara one develops, the more vulnerable one becomes to the amalgam crystal, and to a lesser degree extropy, elemental air, and the amalgams acid, nitre, steam, light, smoke, mist, and lightning.
