Spoiler warning: information below includes details, such as solutions to puzzles or quest procedures, that you may prefer to discover on your own.

"Lord Kalkin, undefeated in battle, binder of demons, lord of lightning, manifest your indomitable power, I beseech you!"

 [ Type                   : ] god
 [ Portfolio              : ] lightning
 [ Disposition            : ] reasonably friendly
[ Offerings Desired      : ] electrically charged objects
[ Spirit Point Cost      : ] fifty to one hundred
[ Requirements to Invoke : ] worship Kalkin; or have at least 80 points among theology skill, arcane lore skill and physics
   skill
[ General Information    : ] Kalkin is surprisingly contemplative, for a god of lightning, and is known for enhancing invokers'
abilities, and those of their associates, in his sphere of influence, especially when plied with items of fine craftsmanship.
As might be expected, manifestations of his lightnings will result from a proper invocation during combat. Kalkin is the
enemy of Kali, and this can be taken advantage of by the well-prepared guerrilla; in battle, offer him an object which has
been used by any of Kali's avatars, and you will witness a particularly spectacular demonstration of his power.

Leolla here (^_^)

You can't use just any old avatar object, like, say, the dagger the avatar cut your head off with when she threw it at you. Just sayin'.

Out of combat, he'll give you come protection vs. electricity. Maybe if you had affinity or whatever magickal skill like aeromancy that'd go up too, but eh, I don't. So there.

His combat invoke is "full of win" as the kids are saying. Use often, like mouthwash and pie! (But not at the same time =/)

Oddly enough, the feeping creatures of the Exoma say the same thing; which whispers in the Courts of Chaos indicate are the fufillment of a line in old Xotic prophecy indicating the heralding the end of the Prime plane.

Which has apparently happens once every few days (yeah, right, I'd notice!), so no worries there!

-- Invoking Kalkin outside of combat provides boosts to air affinity, electrical resistance (because there's no place like ohm), and aeromancy. These benefits also extend to people you've befriended, so like, go make some OZM friends or something. --Porphyria

[OOC Aeriella] Kalkin has an avatar too, but he doesn't come out either and is
badly coded
