Man handicaps

Description
The handicaps mechanism allows a living object to be temporarily or permanently afflicted with a condition which will limit their abilities or lifetime or whatever. The brief list of handicaps supported follows, and it is recommended that the researcher read their respective documentation files.
dead living is deceased/immaterial mortally wounded living is about to die held living is magically held (or bound) blinded living is blind stunned living is stunned slowed living is slowed sleeping living is asleep resting living is passive (ie meditating)
The function query_handicaps() will return a string describing each of these handcaps (an optional argument, when non-zero, will change the perspective of the sentence returned from second person to third person).
