About Rune space ("significance") "no way to confirm this" -- It should be in the help file for runes. I think the one up on the wiki is out of date. It's also in the change log, but I'm pretty sure the help for the guild has been updated to reflect Sauron's new found love of moral ambiguity.
I made myself an Excel sheet so I could look at stuff like "should I just get more rune lore or maybe some crazy auxillary skill like another specialty in physics" and so on.
Here it is if you find it useful. If you want to be able to edit it or something, let me know. Either a) everyone can (with a google/gmail account) or b) I have to add you. I tried for "a)", but this is the first shared document thinger I've tried.

Awesome, I'll spend some time reading it. It let me see it just fine, thank you very much. I have information to add, but I just haven't gotten to it yet. Good stuff.
