Wolves are the smartest, toughest, and most ferocious of the canines. They have an affinity with the spirit world, and Rangers bonded to them have been known to exhibit varying degrees of sensitivity to the supernatural. Canines are also known to exhibit an unusual degree of control over their bodies, capable of self-consciously regulating their body heat, breathing, and heart rate, and confer some of this ability to those bonded to them.

Yellow eyes, full of a predator's cunning, are set into the face of this wolf. She has a full coat of thick gray fur. Powerfully built, this wolf is designed to hunt. She has a tracery of sparkling light within and around her. She looks about sixteen and a half dimins long, four and a tenth dimins wide and eight and three twentieths dimins tall. She is in good shape.
