Descriptions

Astral Bond

• A bond often shared by Hermetic magicians and their familiars, focused primarily on the familiar's role as an aid to the consort's magery.

Fractional Essence Bond

• A shallow but wide interweaving of the familiar's a consort's beings: the bond works in all of its aspects, but only minimally.
• Standard 25%

Martial Bond

• A bond born of study and diligent training, often found between a martial artist and an companion in which they find inspiration for their martial style.

Mystic Bond

• A gentler bond which focuses on introspection and enlightenment, granting the consort contemplative and skill-based benefits but little martial empowerment.

Shamanic Bond

• A bond not uncommonly accessible to magi, granting the consort a share of the arcane power associated with the familiar, but little else.

Partial Essence Bond

• A wide and even interweaving of the familiar's a consort's beings: the bond works in all of its aspects at about half of full effectiveness.
• Standard 50%

Sovereign Bond

• A bond often shared by those who focus on social spheres and their familiars, focused primarily on the familiar's power at the expense of the consort's.

Somatic Bond

• An exotic bond which focuses on altering the consort's form, but at the expense of the powers of the familiar.

Surreptitious Bond

• A powerful and subtle bond type which grants the consort many of the powers of a full bond, while showing only minimal traces of such power to outward observers.

Full Essence Bond

• Standard 100%.
• No longer purchasable, cost was 300 lux.
• Bonds bought previous to the retirement still are present.

Traits

• You will be asked if you wish to have a special capability such as anthropic bonding (humanoid), draconic, or Bezhaulk (bezhuldaar). This will make it appropriately more expensive.

Optionally, for additional lux, your bond capability can have a special
class.  Normally, bond capabilities do not allow bonding anthropic-class
beings (in broad strokes: people rather than animals); if you elect a special
class, you will only be able to bond beings of the special class, but will not
be forbidden to bond anthropic beings.
