Scale Mount Doom

Mount Doom is the tallest mountain in the realm. Simply reach the top alive.

   This quest was created by Ler.

Mount Doom can be found in Northlands at 17, 17, 0 (Global: 17, 179, 0). Go Northeast from that location to actually start climbing the mountain.

You will need a lot of strength, agility and luck to climb up the mountain since you will fall quite regularly if not capable enough to traverse the mountain. Possibly high climbing skill with climbing tools sold at various vendors (including Baldwin in Losthaven) might also do the trick.

You may also need some sort of cold protection as frost will chill you at times while on the mountain. Yeti live on this mountain and can be found in multiple places on the mountain and can be difficult to contend with. At the very top, you will need to defeat Gren Mar and 3 yetis he will call upon when battle starts. He sometimes will wield the Ice Blade of Tarn, if it is not already taken by someone. One up from Gren Mar's position is the completion of the quest as it is the top of Mount Doom.
