Find the white shawl in Ebiria. Go to Miyu's house (-26, 0, 0) (Global: -107, -81, 0). Look for Miyu inside. Give her the shawl. "say dagger to miyu" (literally), follow her to the shrine, wait until she tells you to pray, pray while she is glowing (if you don't do it quickly enough you will have to repeat the sequence), and she gives you the dagger. Take it to Mivara in Temple Bloodmoon; she wanders. Quest complete.

End of spoiler information.

The recent Miyu's House revamp in change #8166 changed the way to acquire the dagger.

The shawl was given to Miyu, she said "Oh, my shawl! Thank you!" she will bow and wear it, but the dagger was not provided. There's a wardrobe where it may be, but even with its key (found in the storageroom), it seems to be a syntax hunt. Procedure updated, it seems the wardrobe is fluff.

You drone, |dagger| at Miyu in sibilant Anglic.
Miyu gazes at you for a moment.
Miyu says, *( A priestess of Amaterasu cannot call on the Goddess without
first preparing her soul by donning her proper vestments, especially her
shawl, and I seem to have misplaced mine. If you think you're worthy to bear
the Holy Dagger, with which the great Queen Himiko forged an empire, then such
a small thing as finding my shawl and returning it to me should be nothing to
you. )* to you in rapidly-accented Anglic.

Miyu says, *( The Holy Dagger is already out in the world, not here. It
will return eventually though -- it always does. )* to you in rapidly-accented
Anglic.
