- Location: Shadow Tower
- Occupation: Prisoner
- Look
The storm giant called Sophratius is a being of impressive physical stature; massive musculature is corded under his blue-white skin. Despite this, there seems to be a certain gentleness to his demeanor, and his great eyes shine with intelligence. Years ago, he gained a certain degree of fame as not only one of the few of his reclusive race to choose to interact with the other peoples of the world, but as a redoubtable philosopher. So powerful were his ideas, though, that the Shadow Lord estimated him a threat to Balance, and so came about his current imprisonment.

While, upon initial examination, the practice of removing extremist individuals from the cultural current may appear an advisable course in this pursuit, there are certain indications that there may be subsequent and non-intuitive consequences to this systemic alteration which may, in fact, be contrary to the Shadow Lord's goals. -) in Norska. Sophratius ponders the situation.
