  Hardrad, the curator of the library in Jhan, is aged even in spite of his elven heritage.  
  He has a long, flowing white beard which reaches down to his waist.  His face has been 
  wrinkled by time, yet his eyes still burn with a deep, passionate fire.  Over the ages, 
  Hardrad has learned many of the world's secrets.  These, he teaches to those willing to 
  learn, for only a small fee, which is used to operate the library.
