Assarith was the tongue of the ancient Istax Empire, which is discussed under the heading of the Xhax language. Assarith was a compromise language between the races of that empire, similar to Dazask, though it was most heavily influenced by the language of the vanished s'tali race. There are few fluent speakers anymore, though most sleestak, dracon, and zuth still have some knowledge of it. It is a sibilant tongue well-adapted to the needs of reptilian lingual apparatus.
