Clear Strike Location
Usage: clear strike location
Selects a specific limb you will attempt to strike on your opponent, such as 'right paw' or 'left leg'. If your opponent has no limb by this name, the setting has no effect. Attempting to strike a specific limb makes it harder to hit in general, and you are still likely to miss your intended limb and hit another, especially if you are trying to strike a limb you would be very unlikely to hit anyway -- for instance, if you were a sixteen-dimin human trying to strike the head of a hundred-fifty-dimin giant.
You can also set your strike location to 'weakness', which means that as soon as you find a weakness in your opponent's defenses using the find weakness skill, you will attempt to strike at it.
For more general aiming, see help set aim. To maximize your chances of hitting the limb targeted, you should also have your aim setting set for the general area of the target where the limb is located. For instance, if you were to have 'aim high' and 'strike left foot', that means you are aiming high in general but trying to hit the left foot if you have an opening to. This won't work as well for hitting the left foot as it would if you aimed low.
