These are for identifying things, fresh characters crave them
They can be purchased from magic shops, such as the ones in Discordia, Liathyr, Yathryn, Halfmoon Bay.

Lens of Analysis

These are for determining the material composition of things.
They can be acquired from the same shops that sell lenses of insight with the exception of the Discordian Magic Shop.
Lens of Mimesis

these are for getting random chunks of skillxp in random skills, quite useful.
Lens of Changes

These allow you to peek at the top card of the Deck of Changes, nearly eliminating the risk from that one draw. They are extremely rare, and given the potential upsides of the deck, they are one of the most highly valued items in the game.
