This teardrop-shaped amulet is made of silver, with a beautifully polished
piece of jet set in it.  The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite.  You
recognize this as the Amulet of Tzeen.  Tzeen was a powerful enchanter who
lived hundreds of years ago.  Seconds before his keep fell prey to the
vlekthid, he instilled an heirloom with his amazing linguistic knowledge.  The
amulet is rumored to give the one who wears it the ability to comprehend, if
not speak, all languages.  It has the side effect of rendering the vlekthid
who wear it capable of intuitively comprehending and experiencing the emotions
of the slave races.  It is considered invaluable for keeping them under
control, but dangerous, as it allows for the possible of empathy and even
pity.
