I'm all for any limitation that is put in to stop muling. One thing that annoys me is when people use their high level characters to twink their new characters. This basically removes any real use of lower/mid level equipment and reduces the gaming experience for lower levels. I'm not sure exactly how much this would take, but I think Twilight's change could be made to apply that timestamp to any item when it leaves your inventory. Regardless if you keep it or not. Possibly even make it so that you can't even pick up the item with another character on your atman. I realize there are ways to get around this, like just don't pick the wanted item up, but it would make it that much harder to accomplish twinking.

This would in my opinion accomplish three things.

  • Limit twinking
  • Increase of lower level groups
  • Increase trade among players

I definitely wouldn't mind something like this, but I think it has to be worked up to a little more slowly to not be a playerbase-destroying change. Msb 17:20, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

one option, would be to add an incentive to a toggleable option -twink, if enabled, it reduces/adds a posisitive xp modifer to grouping, and would add the timestamp to the item, that way the change could be optional and wouldnt destory the pbase.--Eyerish 00:44, 25 May 2008 (EDT)
