The Stone Sabre
From LSWiki
Standard Information
The land of Serpente has been ravaged by the Raptorak Lord Alphaks. The beautiful mage Serpentina is known to have power to rival Alphaks', but she has never been seen since the destruction of the town of Corna three centuries ago. Rumour has it that she had been working on a staff and a sabre before Alphaks' arrival, and that the staff was claimed by Alphaks, but the sabre remains unseen. Perhaps it may still be held within the crumbling walls of the tower...

This quest was created by Steel.
The saber is held by the jeweled golem, Galvanar in the bedroom on the top floor of Serpentina's Tower in Corna (east gate, Global: -48, 24, 0). The tower itself can be found 2w and 1n of the east gate or 5e and 1n of the west gate. On the top, behind a locked door in a non-teleport room is Galvanar. The whispering echoes in your mind as you climb the tower offer clues regarding the location of the key. It is being held by the raktorak Thriksch located in Flametooth's lair (Global: -58, 29, 0). Alternatively, with sufficient strength you can attempt to break the door down, or with intangibility you are able to simply pass through it unhindered.
If you are unable to bypass the door, then getting the key ('small steel key') may potentially be more dangerous than Galvanar himself. Flametooth's (the 'male dragon') breath is somewhat potent, and will instantly incinerate any flammable objects either equipped or on your person. You might have some luck slipping in and out constantly, pecking away at Thriksch one round at a time, however, this method is unreliable. Don't let the presence of two dragons discourage you however, as the female one (Redmoon) is quite trivial - just don't kill it before Flametooth.
On the other side of the door, is Galvanar - kill him and loot his remains for the andesite saber. Raise saber to complete the quest. You alignment needs to be on the 'good' spectrum to complete the quest (and very likely on the "ordered" spectrum as well.)
