Bonding Requirements
The failure message implies that some torture skill is required - indeed this worked with 65 torture skill in one case - but 35 torture is insufficient by itself. This provides a temporary bonus to crushing resistance, cutting resistance, piercing resistance, unholy taint, and unholy affinity. It also restores one spell point.
