	The village is built upon a hillock rising out of the marsh water. Built is a relative term, the village being little more then a palisade around reed huts. The main gate is made from the bones of the larger predators within the swamp and the only other feature is a pit in the centre of the hill that is the Sleestak equivalent of a nursery for their young. -	Sseraka is ruled by a tribal chieftan and his mate, the two of them serving more as defenders of the village and teachers of the members then as controllers of actions. The roles are currently held by Sscantha and his mate S'serinath.
