Mettik the Wise of Jhan is searching for the strongest and bravest of the land to help him find his old friend Mestoph and stop the horror Jenneliz before it is too late. If you are worthy, you must petition Mettik.

You should be at least level thirty to attempt this quest.

Find Mettik in Jhan at the top of the city and 'petition Mettik'. He will then port you over to the Terrace (Barsaive) to find Mestoph the blind. Mestoph is located underground in a cell. Find the cell in the room with the statue in it and search skeleton for the cell key to unlock Mestoph's cell.

Go in Mestoph's cell and he will give you a letter to take back to Mettik.

Get out of the Terrace by going all the way west and up from the cell and 'enter well'. This will randomly teleport you somewhere on the Prime plane.

Get back to Jhan and back to Mettik and give Mettik the letter.

He will then tell you to go find Stephan Steelhammer to obtain Var 'Kunai to defeat Jenneliz with.
