Smithing 

   Class: Craft Skills

The skill of working metals. This covers the general physical techniques used in forgecraft; what items one can create is determined by one's further skills, such as weapon lore and armour lore, and the more subtle knowledge of the behavior of metals is encompassed by the skill of metallurgy, with which most competent smiths have at least some familiarity.
