This is a shimmering iron longsword with a weird translucency to it, seeming to tremble and waver when it is not being given one's
full attention. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. There is a small, barely-visible image on its surface that looks
like the face of a wolf with the eyes of an eagle. This is a phantasm weapon, a mote of power belonging to Doppel, the god of
Illusion. It is a semi-solid illusory substance that responds to thought and will; one need only visualize a weapon form and it
will seem to alter itself accordingly. The precise extent of the variety of implemented weapon types that a Doppelweapon can
mimic is not commonly known; many individuals have claimed to have compiled the complete list, only to discover a new form shortly
thereafter. It appears to be composed of a few thin streamers of shimmering haze and a few thin wisps of shimmering radiance.
You estimate its value at about three hundred twenty gold.
It is in perfect condition.
It looks about a fifth of a dimin wide and fourteen dimins long. It weighs about five hundred one thousandths of a dekan.
After a moment, the knowledge that the shimmering iron phantasmal longsword is composed of sixty-five percent dweomer and thirty-five percent iron drifts into your mind like a long-forgotten memory.
  • Can assume almost any weapon form. Doing so uses creative energy.
  • Deals partial Goetia damage.
  • As they are manifestations (not real), they are easily destroyed by antimagic effects such as Bezhuldaar eyebeams.
  • Weapon craft is determined by effective skills in Imagination, Weapon Lore and probably some other ones (this is wild speculation with zero confirmation).
  • Whatever the skills may be, the shaper's current creative energy at the time of visualizing seems to play a significant role in the final quality. Possibly this is a modifier to whatever skills contribute or added alongside them or something else?
  • Weapon forms are most likely simply drawn from the ones intrinsically known to you, but it is true skills like weapon lore would help with this.
  • One can reliably be obtained in Sanctuary in the temple of Doppel. Appears quite rarely as a randomload weapon.
