The parrot is a small, colorful little bird native to the jungles of Tetlacana.
Mimicry and Speech
The parrot is unique among familiars in that it is capable of speech. It is superb at mimicking any spoken words that it hears - sometimes to the chagrin of the consort. It can also speak specific words on command, thought it does not seem to speak any languages but the secret language of birds:
Matey squawks, -- Owks quaaea eska fox jumped ee owks sk' aa kai -- in a halting squawking language you don't recognize.
