- | This did not last long, though, and her mind's turbidity slowly quelled, and she no longer felt the desire to be completely insane. In her experiences, she had realized that the true chaos to her was not that of random and turbulent, but that of the absurd, surreal, and nonsensical. Depending on who you asked, this was the sort of chaos Eris herself embodied, the primal forces of chaos themselves being more the purview of the Logrus. With this epiphany, her emotional link with her sunfish was severed, and her emotions felt pangs of deeper feelings of whimsical reverie and visions of dreamscapes, she knew what she had to do. Diving into the Exoma once more she had found another imaginary fish, much like her own, and upon encountering eachother, the fish locked eyes with the faerie, and quickly made her way to her new consort's side. Now achieving a more intense Eristic reverie, she was well on her way of imagining the possibilities of where she could find a place of greater creative chaos, and possibly physically and spiritually evolve to her "true self". | + | This did not last long, though, and her mind's turbidity slowly quelled, and she no longer felt the desire to be completely insane. + | Of course, by now, Xaolyn's a being of three minds, her second fish having acclimated to her mentality quite well. What did she want these days? Who knows. She mostly sits in the Yehovite church of Losthaven, working to counteract its innate Aneristic nature with her own Eristic tendancies. Personally, she wants even more fish, there's still much to be done, and so much waiting to do. Was she aspiring to godhood? Or just desiring to get closer and closer to her goddess? Or maybe she just was waiting for something in the future she had no idea the distance of, she wasn't a soothsayer, just really good at guessing. | ||

Fairy Nice to Meetcha
Born 153 years ago in Freehold, as a female, she took quickly to the odd and chaotic nature of her peers and the goddess they worshiped, she knew little of the faerie homeland of Arborlon, although she enjoyed the strange and unusual fruits that would be imported from there, being especially partial to grackle fruit, enjoying the strange effects it had on her speech and mannerisms. Her life continued semi-uneventfully, until she became more than just a casual Eris worshiper, and became a POEE, adapting quickly to the guild's habits and skills.
Fishing for a Dream
Nobody can quite explain what happened next, but one day, while sitting in her microcosm, staring out at the chaotic landscape of the Exoma, a place she wished to better interact with, but couldn't, due to her frail body, common to most of her race, at least the ones who didn't break tradition and tried succeeding at physical vocations. Something snapped in her brain, and got the strange urge to mentally connect with her Imaginary Fish, one of the rare non-sentient creatures with an odd Erisian affinity, that she had received as a pet from Eris herself, from an offering she had made long ago.
Body by Chaos
It was around this time her femaleness became hermaphrodism, none can really be sure why, but when asked, Xaolyn would reply "Being female wasn't weird enough.". She still considered herself a sort of female in spirit, though, and she had also gotten surgery to gain a psychedelically multicolored skin color, which was reported to have been donated to Kurd a long time ago from a faerie who gained this rare and unique skin color from a warpstone accident, although other sources say that the faerie was once a different race that could more easily access this skin color, and just transmigrated into a faerie.
Gone Mental Fission
Either way, as time went on, Xaolyn gained the ability to manipulate her own subjective reality, feeling what she wanted, and making what she did act the way she wanted, and finally as her bond became full strength, became a being of two minds, which happened to share the same memories and personalities, but act as two distinct consciousnesses.
Here Comes the Sun
Further down the line, another part of her brain snapped, and she felt the sensation of a blazing sun in her emotions, and dove into the Exoma, a place made a good deal more friendly to her after she had become in-tune with her fish, and tried to seek out a being that could quell these plasma flames. For some reason, she could not find any plasma beings that day, even though she could usually find them any other day. Cutting through the Exoma's beings, hoping to make the wildlife more sparse so a plasma being could come out, she noticed that the things she was killing were strangely modified metaphysically, fighting with increased ferocity, and disappearing in torrents of seawater when mortally wounded.
Deus Ex Machina
After what felt like hours of searching, she eventually encountered a sunfish, which she felt was exactly what she was looking for, but tragedy happened, before she could make friends with it, it attacked her, and she was forced to kill it. Frustrated and discouraged, she went to another faerie, who may or may not have been a relative, who had a link to the Kathexon who these sunfish originated from, and summoned her a much more friendly one, who she quickly bonded with.
Fairy and Loving in Lost Sanity
The events that happened afterward are blurred and muddled after this, as Xaolyn was no longer sane or cared very much for anything but the present, but she was happy, and frankly, that's all she wanted. At one point, cosmic forces intervened, and all her colors, and that of her familiars started randomly shifting in a surreal yet enthralling manner, possibly to have her features on the outside match the way she felt on the inside.
Ambidextrous Xaolyn has a Broken Mind
Flash forward a few months, and her dedication to the forces of chaos enabled her to do something few had the honor of doing, one notable example being Dara herself, the High Priestess of Discordia: Being an active member of both of Eris's dedicated worshiping forces at once, and she had trained with Sinister Dexter, becoming a member of the Erisian Liberation Front. Of course, being the mentally turbid little faerie she was, her tendency towards spewing out random chaos gibberish and generally randomly having her thoughts and emotions twist in non-euclidean directions as she was fed the infinite variability of thoughts, pictures, and sensations of Hyperion's rage-shredded mentality, meant that she was not often able to call upon the gods with which the ELF had rapport. But, the mental clarity she could temporarily summon up by focusing the chaos within her helped her, if only for a short time. This connection with Hyperion did mean her invocations were quite a sight to see, even if only capable for short times though. And she was happy to finally gain the ability to finally "worship" the surrogate sun that provided her with such sights and sounds and feelings and memories.
Requiem for a Sunfish
This did not last long, though, and her mind's turbidity slowly quelled, and she no longer felt the desire to be completely insane. In her experiences, she had realized that the true chaos to her was not that of random and turbulent, but that of the absurd, surreal, and nonsensical.
